October 8, 2009 6:00-10:00 on the 76th floor of the Columbia Tower. The views and 4-course dinner will be fantastic.
I wasn't going to go because tickets were $75, but when I got a call asking if I would be willing to donate a dessert for the auction I found out that the price structure had been changed to "pay as much as you can" with a minimum price of $25. Additional money is being raised by having each table (of 10) put up cash for a dessert auction. The table with the most money gets first pick of desserts, and so on down the line.
I will be there with a Chocolate Silk & Creme Pie to donate to the dessert auction. The table that wins it will not be disappointed. :)

Do you know who qualifies for the $25 price tag? Is there an income limit? I got an email about it but haven't had time to look into it yet :) I'd love to come and win your dessert!

No qualifying necessary. You chose the price you can afford. $25 is listed as financial hardship, which is me, at the moment. The ingredients for the pie are going to cost another $25, but I'm guessing it will sell for more than that.
