DELICIOUS AND SLIGHTLY CHEESEY..:)
shred yams, onions, fresh garlic, red pepper in food processor and add spices you enjoy.
(i did garlic, onion powder, a dash of paprika, sweet red pepper spice)
form into balls and dehyrate until crispy!
they tasted so cheesey (i think because of the spices i used) and were bright orange!

That sounds ideal for the Fall/Winter season. Might be a good way to prepare some Autum squash, too.
