I don't know these bars... I LOVE Alissa's Berry Bars, though. They are SOOO good!!! Have you tried making Bars yourself? Alissa has a GREAT Date Nut Torte recipe in her book that tastes WONDERFUL!!! I don't like a lot of the "RAW Bars" out there, but I do like the ones I make. Try it!

Anything with a nut base will have a lot of fat...healthy though when balance with other foods.

See, I love those bars. OMG they are wonderful. Heavenly.
Can you tell I came from a very unhealthy high fat, high sugar diet?

yep. me too. Although these seem even higher in fat than my pure Lindt chocolate!! Way too greasy for me, my whole hand felt oily afterwards. (

I have tried the raw revolution bars many times and gave up. They are awwwwwfulllll. I now have dscovered PURE bars and they are at Traders Joes for 1.49 each!!! They are sweet and I never worry about fat (as a rawfoodist do not ever have to now) and I think only one ingred was questionable.

Bars are too heavy for me and slow me down. I prefer fresh juice or frut anyday over bars. I keep em in my purse for backup so I dont eat something else .

The Raw Crunch bars Alissa sells are great says my hubby. He loves the taste and they hold him . He walks around for over a mile with 100lbs of rocks on his back and mines those rocks all day and in the heat. He also does craft shows and these are his only food some days as he has no one to cover his booth so he can grab food. His favorites are the goji berry and cranberry.
He is on his 4th box and he is down 30 lbs. Doing his own diet style incorporating my raw food into his regular diet.
He has developed a taste for goji berries from eating the bars. We are about to order 2 more boxes of them.

Hallelujah Acres have a bar that is wonderful as well. Yum. However, I think I'll try the ones in Alissa Cohen's book. I have just now ordered it. Thanks for the heads up on the date nut torte. HA bars are wonderful, just a little pricey. I don't like many of these bars but those are truly good. Not too sweet, not oily at all, and quite satisfying and of course, raw.
