I have to laugh (not really). I just got a call from my husband, who is attending a class for the first time since he completed his Master's degree in 1974.
I made a big deal of it being his "first day of school". I gave him 2 apples and 3 clementines to eat at break/lunch. (It's a 3-hour class and then he goes straight to work).
Well, he got to school and lo and behold-there's coffee and doughnuts and pastries. I imagine it's just because it's the first day, but geeze! I hope they don't start selling ice cream there, too.
