    Hi,

I was wondering if Grezzo is still open? I though it was closed.

Sorry for just getting back with ya! No, Grezzo has been closed for some time now, but Alissa was kind enough to share all of the yummy recipes from Grezzo in her 2nd book, Raw Food For Everyone! I have another thread just like this one where I made recipes from RFFE!!! Gotta do a search here to see it. Boy, that was SO much FUN!!!! I'm glad to see that people are still appreciating this thread! That just makes me smile!!!!! :)

I still make many recipes from LOLF on a daily basis. There's something special about Alissa's recipes!!! Anyone that has read one or both books will agree with me. Give RFFE a try!!! I love that I have brought Grezzo to my home!!! :)

I'm sorry that the photos won't load for you! I have over like 800 pictures on the site and I wish I had the time to make them smaller. If you like, please visit my blog...some of the photos are there: www.Veggies4ever.com. Your alterations sound yummy! I just had Alissa's Crepes this morning! My son is allergic to nuts, so I didn't give him. I make Bananas with the strawberry sauce all the time! It's quick, easy, and delicious!

I think the most simple Raw recipes are some of the best! Take the Banana Leather....It's just Bananas and yet it's totally delicious made as a fruit roll up! Then, you can take another banana, cut it into slices and dehydrate for a wonderful banana chip! Then, you can take the chip and dip it into the strawberry sauce! YUMMMMM!!!! I've even made banana slices, put them on a plate with a drop of Agave and a Pecan on top for a wonderful treat! Or, freeze another banana and make banana icecream and pour the strawberry sauce over it....add some pineapple slices or walnuts for a delicious treat! It's really amazing what you can do with a banana!!!! :-)

That food looks so good. Really? All raw? I haven't ventured into the gourmet foods yet except a zucchini noodle with a made up sauce. Oooh! it was gd.
Good luck on your path. I don't count either, but have to check my weight periodically or I wouldn't realize my success, so I do weigh once a month. I was surprised at the weight loss since I was getting so much food. Since that has been a long time problem, it's nice to realize a little success on this diet, since I really believe it is the best thing for me. I have done vegetarianism for a long time, but a lot of cooked food. I never thought that was a problem, but when I got to read some of peoples success stories, I got it that it is a healthy way of life. Many of my ailments are improving already. I hope to get to know you and thank you for posting some of your journey.

Hi Luvtherawlife!!! Thank you so much for posting! Life has been wonderfully rawsome and super busy for me, so I just saw your post!!! I'm so glad that you appreciate this thread! Yes, everything is raw...it's all from Alissa's book. Where do you live? You should consider taking a class from an Alissa Cohen instructor! That will help you to venture into the gourmet foods successfully.

I wish you success on your raw journey! If I can help you with any recipes, just gimme a shout! :)

Thanks Max! Aaaaahhh, your facebook page is cute! It's a great start! I'm actually not on Facebook anymore...it was just too much of a time sucker-upper for me.

The best tip I could give you is probably to befriend other rawbies who are on Facebook (I know Alissa is, The Raw Family...) ones like that who already have a huge following. That way you could get some great tips from them.

I'm glad you like my thread! This is actually the 2nd one I did....here's a link to the very first one:

And, here's the one for Alissa's new book, Raw Food for Everyone:

    Hi Renee,

I am new to the raw food way of eating. Any suggestions for nut/seed substitutions? I have a family member who is allergic nuts and pretty much all sees except pumpkin. Also, thanks for all the pictures and info.
