Alissa's Chili.... YOU GUYS...this is da BOMB!!!! This is another recipe I didn't like much the 1st time I made it... OH MY!!! This is SOOO GOOD!!! Especially with the Sour Cream!!!!

Alissa's Meatloaf... Girl, how in the WORLD did you make this taste like Meatloaf is beyond me!!! You're a pure genious, Alissa!!!! This is SOOO GOOOD!!!!! If you make it, you GOTTA do the Mushroom Gravy!!! Sets it OFF, Yau'll!!!!!!

Alissa's Potato Salad... Made it before...still LOVE it!!! Actually Love it even MORE now!!!

Alissa's Spanish RICE... Oh My GOODNESS!!!! You guys, this is SOOO GOOD!!!! The longer you let it sit, the better it gets!!!!

Sweet Pototo Pie... This is FABULOUS!!!!! The key for me was using the Vitamix instead of the Food Processor because it made it so CREAMY!!!!! I had to take a photo before it was all gone!!!! My 8 yr old Daughter kept licking her plate!!!!! LOL!!!!!

I also made Alissa's Carrot Cake... It was INCREDIBLE!!!!! It was gone before I got to take a picture!!! LOL!!!! I'll definitely make it again and download a photo!!!!
Thank you so much Alissa for such a TERRIFIC book!!!! I can't WAIT till the new one comes out!!! I get 1st DIBBS on making every recipe in the new one!!!! Oh YEA!!!!! :)

Just wanted to say hi there and let you know what an awesome raw trail you have blazed with these 30 day challenges. I have been randomly reading threads and always come across your great tips and pictures. Recently you chatted on another thread about certification and I am happy to say that I registered TODAY for my Living Food certification next month -- I am beyond excited and still in shock about the financial sacrifice, but it was covered because I am helping 3 women with diabetes eat better and they are so excited to know more -- one of them told me that if was able to even help one person, that the weekend class is worth it -- how many more years of life are they able to enjoy by sharing this do-able lifestyle :)
That brought tears to my eyes (along with the fact that she has been drinking green smoothies daily for 5 days straight and has already made so many improvements).
I know someday I will get to meet you, just as I am getting to meet Alissa as well (let us know if you plan to be in town the weekend of Dec 3rd..) so much sooner than I thought -- Hubby was impressed with all the pics -- i kept interrupting his work at the computer by bringing my screen over and saying "ooh hun look at what she made next" lol.
He said -- omg - someone else who takes pictures of her food -- ooh you may meet your match! I have raw food pics on my fotki, but I need to move them to photobucket.
I just got the new book today and I definitely want to work thru making all the recipes. I think it would be soo fun! Im off to subscribe to your blog and update my own as well.

Yea, you should have seen me at Alissa's Class!!!!!!! I was RIGHT UP FRONT and took over 450 photos of my class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm NOT ***EVEN*** kidding you!!!!!!!! I'm sure Alissa was thinking, "This GIRL has TOTALLY lost her RAW MIND!!!!!" LOLLLLLL!!!!! Honestly, taking Alissa's Class is the BEST GIFT you can give yourself!!! She is the reason I do what I do! She motivated me to reach BEYOND the stars and I am still doing that, almost a YEAR after taking her class!!!!! I just KNOW we're gonna see some AMAZING things from you!!!!! (((((HUGS))))))
I took all of the photos, printed them out, and put them in 2 photo albums!!!!! During my Classes, my Students get to see my Class journey!!!! I'm SOOOOO glad I did this, because I refer to it sometimes just to see how my Mentor Alissa does things......sometimes slightly different than I do.
I just LOVE that HUBBY of YOURS!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's a KEEPER!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love looking at my early RAW photos because I like to see where I've gone from there! That's SUCH a great thing to do! That's why Alissa has the Blog section here. It's great to see your progress as you go RAW!!!!
I would LOVE to meet you someday!!!!!!!!!!! You never know where I'll POP up!!! ;)

BTW, My kids (ages 11 and 7) want to join me on this Challenge!!!! YEA!!!!!! I'm incredibly excited about that!!!!!!! It's gonna help a LOT not having to cook for them during the day!!! But, it means that I'm gonna have to be more prepared than ever to make sure that they have enough to eat. They LOVE the Smoothies and most of the meals...especially the Nori Rolls, Collard Rolls, Eggplant Pizza (with the Marinara Sauce instead of the nuts), and things like that. My Son is allergic to most NUTS (except Almonds), so I'll just use mostly seeds for him.
Last night, I started out by making the Cream for the Bananas, Berries, & Cream (For my SON I will alter it by making Alissa's sauce from the Crepes to pour over the Bananas & Berries), and I made the Eggplant Parmesean--which I'll have today for dinner (I have Maranara Sauce left over from this, so I'll use that and Spiral some noodles for my SON'S dinner--adding some Avacado to it...). I also got plenty of fruit and things to make Smoothies and Salads. Gotta go find my camera to download the photos...
I am SOOO Excited about this!!! Looking forward to many more changes this month!!! I have some NEW Challenges to contend with this month...keeping my kids interested being one of them... But, I'm up for it! Doing the last 30 days has prepared me to continue more focused than ever!!! My best friends are joining me this month and it's such a priviledge to help them!!!
EXERCIZE: A couple of weeks ago, I twisted my ankle, so I can't do running on a treadmill, but I can do a slow walk, work with weights, work with my band, or do an exercise tape, so I'll do some of that today.
