    Unhappy Yeast and Gray Hair

Hi Guys, I'm twenty three years old and have been doing my best for a couple of years now to eat a lot of raw food. Started back when I was 16 when my mom got cancer and from then she and I both have become raw ogranic believers in the healing power of food :) I am on birth control (dep provera) and I have been having serious problems with Candida. Ive done a candid cleanse (from Natures Sunshine) as well as avoided alcohol, suger, dairy and anything with yeast in it (all wheat products) for the last four months and everyday I have been taking a yeast/fungal cleanse vitamin as well a probiotics, calcium with vitamin d, lysene and black walnut to deal with this yeast thing. My candida symptoms have improved though not disappeared entirely and everything gets bad again if I forget my vitamins for even a day or two. So I've continued taking them.
Well, now my hair is turning white. Weird, all of sudden, just plain WHITE. Crazy and I don't know why! No one in my family history has premature gray hair, especially the women. So I started doing searches online and now I'm reading that BREWERS YEAST/B VITAMINS has really been working for a lot of people but I'm terrified to take anything with YEAST in it because of my candida problems. But it got me wondering, am I causing my gray hair because of the yeast/fungal vitamins that I'm taking all the time??? Should I stop and start taking BREWERS YEAST instead??

Ahh, I sure wish I could help you there. I have no idea. I am interested though if you do find the answer.
I always thought intense stress also could cause premature grey.

tarahlynn, that is a lot to think about. I can't answer your questions, but I think maybe you did. Since your wondering if the supplements are causing the problem and if you should stop, that might be the best thing to do. Especially the lysene and black walnut. Neither of those are for long-term use.

Do some searching for threads posted here about yeast (there are plenty) and choose another approach to getting rid of candida.

As for the Brewer's yeast, I would suggest using a good quality Nutritional yeast, which is similiar, but should not be confused with Brewer's yeast.

    :)
