Default Do you use the strainer that comes with your Green Star juicer?

My Green Star came with a small, hand-held strainer. (Not to be confused with the screen that goes inside the juicer.) After I juice, I run the juice through this strainer before drinking. The strainer catches "sludge," thick parts, and foam, leaving just liquid juice.

It's come to my attention that apparently not everyone uses this strainer and just drinks the juice as it comes out of the juicer. What do you do? Honestly, since I've been using the strainer the whole time, I couldn't imagine not using it. The sludgy stuff looks too thick and solid to me. Just curious what everyone does!

I MUST strain the sludge (I didn't realize anybody but my dd called it that) or my family won't drink. Even after straining my dd won't drink the last little sip in the bottom of her glass ... but she has texture issues ;). Mostly a preference thing.

My understanding is that the strainer has been designed to remove any particle that is too big to pass through your digestive system easily so I religiously strain and would not consider it to be juice if it was not strained.
Sometimes I keep what is in the strainer and add it to a smoothie later in the day.
A smoothie requires a different type of digestion so it is fine in that.
