hugely busy day yesterday... worked all day then lead a table at a craft social... then went out with friends afterwards.... lol... it's 2am ... I've made a pact with Baxter (pupster) to let's sleep in a bit (we're usually up between 5 and 5:30... 6am latests, every day!
had a smoothie for bfast yesterday and went to an awesome place called chop it up for lunch... they have wraps and THE BEST SALAD EVER .... they have fabulous chopped salads and you can actually choose all your ingredients... it was DELISH...
tomorrow (well, later this morning actually...) is farmer's market... can't wait!

Doing some uncooking today. I stuffed some banana peppers with a walnut taco and corn mixture and they are in the dehydrator at this moment. Also dehydrating some green tomatoes. Not sure how they will turn out because they are green, but I wanted to see what would happen if I dehydrated them.
So far: Vanilla Almond Milk, banana and pineapple smoothie for breakfast and now I'm having watermelon from our garden. Yum!

Hello, everyone, I am back from a week at family camp. I was able to stay raw even though I was one of the cooks, except for a tiny spoonful now and then when I needed to taste something for seasoning. I am very proud of myself and my daughter. I felt good all week in spite of a rather grueling schedule that started early in the morning and went all day. The only thing I didn't like is that my ankles swelled and stayed swollen all week even first thing in the morning. I am wondering if it had to do with using table salt rather than sea salt, plus being on my feet all day. We will see if they go back down now that I am home. I am thinking of doing just green smoothies for a few days as I still have a week before I have to go back to work and would love to do a little cleansing.
I will jump back in with menus tomorrow. Right now I am so tired I don't even care what I eat. Camp is beautiful and inspiring but I sure missed my own bed.

I've been craving way more fats and heavier foods (nuts, avocados, dehydrated stuff) the past 2 or 3 days. I hadn't had any cravings at all and then the past two days I've noticed some creeping in, for cheese or heavy breads, especially when I feel hungry, so I'm using the fats to give me that 'full' feeling I'm used to. I'm surprised it's taken me 2 weeks to have any cravings. I also had a colonic today, only my 2nd one and the first in 12 years. It was awesome and I'll tell more on my blog in case it's TMI or whatever for this thread.

Later I'll have a salad and another cookie or 2. I have to get to work making some bread/crust, spicy nuts, and 'cheese' crackers.

Finally got the carrot cake made, this is Alissa's recipe and it is delicious. I added some orange zest to the frosting and I LOVE it. I also made Alissa's berry bar but I didn't add the strawberry and banana bits. It think it definitely needs it because it tastes like something is missing to me.
I also made the cheezy cucumber rice and No Potato Potato Salad (my sister-in-law sent me the recipe from Alissa's website).
24 oz smoothie with water, 2 frozen plums, 1 frozen peach, 1 frozen banana, and honey
Salad with romaine lettuce, baby carrots, cherry tomatoes
