    DAY 7...

Thanks so much for the encouraging words!!! Today I am looking in my cabinet to see what I'm missing from the Week 2 Menu! I'm licking my lips with anticipation!!!!

Today I had a Green Smoothie and I had a taste for Alissa's Marinated Portabella w/the Ginger Sauce, so I made that over a Salad!!! Soooo Good!!! I also finished off the Torte earlier, so looking forward to the next RAW goodies on the Menu!!!

Got a "visitor" today , so I haven't lost any weight yet...but I'm not discouraged because I had NO PMS!!!! NO CRAMPING!!!! And, no EXCESS weight gain or bloating!!! Actually, it just kinda snuck up on me!!! I am POSITIVE that RAW had made the difference... Can't weight (pun intended!!!) to see some more changes....

    Reneeh,

    Your marinated mushrooms look yummy!

I no longer get visits from the "vistor", I was blessed with an early menopause, when I was 48. It is hereditary in our family. I love Menopause! We use to call it the visitor also. Or "that time of the month".

Yes, it must be the Raw Food which is making the difference for you! Excellent!

I shall be cheering you on. I really like reading your posts, seeing the pics, too. A terrific idea - I love so many of the recipes in her book.

Great idea and thread Renee! :) I think that going back to Alissa's 4 week plan is a great idea to get yourself back on track! I got her book a couple of weeks ago and am actually working through her menu plan now also. I am going into week 3 now, and WOW, she wasn't kidding! It IS a lot of food! I have been halving all of the recipes, and still don't get through all of them in a week. I also came off of a 20 day master cleanse before I started though, so I haven't been as hungry as I would normally be - but that is starting to change!

I'm with you on the fettucini alfredo, I wasn't a huge fan of it. And the Pad Thai is pretty awesome! I absolutely fell in love w/the collard wraps - the marinated mushrooms and onions make it SO delish! I was also amazed that the mock salmon pate somehow tasted slightly fishy! Maybe it was just in my head. I loved it with flax crackers and carrot sticks.

Looking forward to reading more on your "re-introduction" journey!

    Default Day 8: Week 2

Thanks everyone! I'm on Week 2 Day 8!!!

Today I made: Alissa's Pasta w/Marinara Sauce, Blueberry Pie, Not Tuna Pate, and French Dressing.

    Everything is DELICIOUS!!!!

This is SOOO Good!!! I didn't use my Saladaco, though...I wanted a thicker noodle, so I used my veggie peeler with an attachment. I also wanted a thicker sauce, so I used more Sun Dried Tomatoes than the recipe called for. DELICIOUS!!!

This is TERIFFIC!!! I was also surprised how "fishy" it tasted!!! I'm gonna have this with some Flax Crackers later and maybe with some Carrot/Celery Sticks.

This is before refrig. I can't wait till it's solid!!!!

Oh, BTW, my grocery bill for WEEK 2 FOOD came to: $57.00 (I did have a lot of "staples" already, though...)

Can I come live with you? Your raw dishes look amazing. I'm gonna make some Pad Thai -- it's the thing I "miss" the most from my vegetarian life . . .

    Renee, you are awesome!
