    Default Eight Weeks 100% Raw

Eight weeks raw today and I have seen some progress. I have lost 18 pounds and 23 inches! I was surprised by the amount of inches I have lost, as on SAD, when I would lose weight it would seem like my actual size did not go down. But I am down at least a pants size (my "biggest" problem area). And the next size down is getting lose, yaya.

On the health front, my blood sugar and blood pressure continue to be excellent. I was caught off guard by a couple of migraines before my cycle, but they were very mild. A reminder to stick with my progesterone cream for awhile.

I have been detoxing a LOT so have not felt that well on some days, but on the other days, my energy level is really rising, which is SO WONDERFUL.

Still have a ways to go with fibromyalgia pain. Cannot see much progress in that area, but I obviously have lots of detoxing yet to do.

No pictures this month. Maybe next time!

Wow. The 23 inches impresses me even more than the 20 lbs!!!

That is inspiring. Hubby and I want to go to a sunny sandy place for a vacation in the fall sometime and I would sure like to be able to look decent in a swim suit. You just may have inspired me. Thank you and keep it up.

I keep seeing articles about fibromyalgia and B12 and how mercury destroys B12 (methylcobalamin), you might find these interesting. The Swedish seem to be more advanced than we are about this.

1: A Swedish physician, aged fifty, suffered from fibromyalgia and painful paraesthesia for years and was unable to work in her profession. She treated herself with daily injections of methylcobalamin, folic acid and B6, together with the recommended antioxidant supplementation for amalgam patients. She noticed that not only did she benefit intellectually (confirmed by me) but her symptoms ceased after six months treatment. Thinking that she was cured, she stopped the treatment, but after only about a week all her symptoms returned. She recommenced the treatment and after eight days she recovered.

    12) Inorganic mercury is known to accumulate on the BBB. It is thought that it oxidises the cobalt atom in methylcobalamin, making it far less able to cross the barrier. Inorganic mercury is thus a creator of deficiency of B12 in the nervous system and symptoms usually attributed to mercury toxicity in the brain and nerves are due to its effect on B12. Inorganic mercury exposure is most commonly from mercury amalgam dental fillings and vaccines. Psychiatrist John Dommisse in the USA claims to have reversed 100% of his pre-Alzhemiers patients with the use of methylcobalamin as well as many cases of depression. Methylcobalamin is highly recommended by the Swedish Association of Dental Mercury Patients. It has been used successfully in the treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia - more than 60% of these patients have tested for low levels in the cerebrospinal fluid. It has been used successfully as part of treatments in Autism, Schizophrenia and Multiple Sclerosis and has great potential in Parkinson's Disease and Muscular Dystrophy as well as other neurological or psychological disorders. In such cases intramuscular injections or sublingual liquids or lozenges of methylcobalamin are maximally effective in combating deficiency symptoms since they by-pass the complex absorption process in the intestines. There is no evidence for toxicity of methylcobalamin. Up to 40mg per day has been used therapeutically in some cases. Large doses have been used since it must overwhelm the effect of any mercury on the BBB.

That is very very interesting. I am pretty sure I got mercury poisoning back in 2002. I was doing a Body For Life challenge and eating up to two cans of tuna every single day. I had done several challenges before that with no problem (and not so much tuna) but I got severe exhaustion and had to stop after 6 weeks. I got very ill by the end of the year and it has taken me all this time and still not back to where I was before. So I will look into supplementation with B12. Thanks!
