    Default New and hello!!

    Hello everyone,
    I am new to this site. I am not too new on raw foods. In the past i have done raw food to lose weight and detox from pregnancy. I have been thinking about going raw again from month to month and try to get regular with it. I really like and miss the way i felt when i was eating better!!!!:). Rigbt now i am 12 weeks pregnant and have the fo a head from my doctor to stat raw again. So today i started. It is tuesday aug 4th 2009. I weight 214lbs. Ihave been known to have high blood pressure and i really hopes this helps.

    So far today I have had raw spaghetti. zuccuni for noodles and for the sauce
    fresh toamto,red bell pepper, onion,garlic, sun dried tomatos, and dried herbs and sea salt.

    Let me tall you, it tasted sooooooooooooooo good!! Lets just say i ate alot!
    for lunch i am thinking i might eat some raw nori rolls.w/ avacado and carrots and cucumber. take care and hope to meet everyone

    Our PLANET is so Precious. God created this and its up to us to respect it. Did you know the Water we use today is the same water Moses used? RECYCLE everything you can at least once.... Let's keep this going...........

    hi freakaleek1, congratrulations on the bambino and for incorporating the new lifestyle!! woo hoo for you. There was, a few weeks ago a "Mommies Raw Food Summit" you might want to check out. They had some phenomenal speakers and great information for mommies to be and their children.

    Welcome! You may want to check out Aleesha's Raw and Pregnant thread she started to get some great advice. Also, do you have Alissa's book and DVDs? Powerful tools to help you on this healing journey.

    Default I am in again for another wonderful raw month

    so how is it going everyone. My brother introduced my familyt o raw, he transitioned to another path 4/18/09. Yesterday was he 42 birthday we ate from his garden collard greens we call it Kamau's Garden. I gave him a green smoothie book for christmas a few years ago. We can now have fresh collards in our green smoothie all day. He would love this I know. My mom does green smoothies everyday now. He was a great strength and example. I can hardly believe the truth of his transition. This month I dedicate my raw journey in the month of August to my brother Kamau.:)

    forgot to say what I ate today
    this morning I had a raw pataschio drink made with pataschios, banana dates, salt, honey, and a little vanille.
    I then at some friut, berys and plums plus, figs.
    this evening I had a broccilli nut patee and nori with salsa and avocados. great. I will have some of that tomorrrow also.
