    HI Gabriel! From what I can remember, I beleive that they are dead. Of course they still offer us all the amazing benefits, that I'm sure youre aware of, if your looking for a "live" or "living" food, that would be sprouts. Sprouts are living up the point that you swallow them.

    thanks everyone for all your answers. I tend to think they are pretty much dead, except for the sprouts. And maybe the enzymes in the fruits.......oh i don't know....
