    Hi All,

I have been tracking this amazing forum for over a week now and decided to join. I'm in my 2nd week of a 30 day raw food challenge that I am doing (or so I thought!) on my own. It's Great to find you all!
I'm 26, live in Amsterdam with a SAD husband and have been vegan, and 100% raw over the years but never more than 3 months (vegan) and never more than 2 weeks fully raw. Would like to make it 30 days and then stay 80% raw afer that for more life force, to get that glow and shed pounds and toxicity.

    B - smoothie: mango banana
S - raw food bar: carrot, date
L - big salad with nuts and dried berries
S - apple, almonds in my desk
D - raw food cafe, meal of the day (my ticket to success for night cravings)

    H - 5'9
    SW - 85k = 187lbs
    GW - 70k = 154lbs by September

    Be Well!
    Hilary

Here's the spinach dip recipe you asked for, Hilary. Enjoy! :)

    Spinach Dip
    4 C. baby spinach
    1 avocado, pitted
    1 Tb. white miso
juice from 1/8 - 1/4 lemon (maybe 1 Tb. total)
    dash garlic powder
    dash onion salt
    dash black pepper
no more than 1/4 C. water

Fill the BlendTec with spinach to the 4 C. mark. Add avocado, miso, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion salt and pepper.
Pour in about 1/8 C. water.
Pulse until blended but still with some texture to the spinach. Drizzle in more water as needed. You'll definitely have to stop and scrape down the sides as you go.

I like to just dip vegetables in this (celery & bell peppers are my favorites) or use it as a sandwich spread on dehydrated bread or tortillas.

    Default Day 22

Hilarya_m - glad you are joining us!

I had a hard day today being around SAD food, but managed to stay raw. I just kept reminding myself of all of the reasons I am doing this and how important it is to keep a promise to myself (to be 100% raw for 60 days, then reassess). This is what my menu looked like today:

    - E3 Live
    - Smoothie with banana, blueberries, cherries, coconut butter, cocoa powder and Blue Manna
    - Salad with avocado
    - Watermelon
    - Green salad with strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, oranges
    - Banana
    - Cherry chocolate ice cream

I am taking a break from the gym tomorrow so I can sleep in. :)

    Have a great night!
    Michelle

    Hi everyone, and welcome Hillary.
I felt really awful this morning, nauseated and dizzy. I don't know if it was more detox or perhaps corn, from the (delicious) tortillas I had last night. That is the only thing I ate different that I rarely eat. But I pushed through it and actually had a great day decluttering my basement (needs it BAD).
B: About two swallows of green smoothie was all I could handle.
L: Felt better and had two more burritos
S: Two more burritos. They are gone now!
Snack: peach ice cream. Not much in the way of veggies today....my stomach just didn't want it. Hopefully tomorrow will be better, and I can continue my decluttering. I am on a roll!
