I am doing a fast for 4 days breaking it noon on Friday. Fruits only , mostly fruit and veggie juices, thats it .

    Banana - 3 all day
    Papaya .5
Kombucha - 2 love the new one called superfruits.
    Grapefruit Juiced, only one left
Apples 2 and Cherries Cherries Cherries !

then I will see where I am but that should get me thru the day .

9:00 PM My Omega stopped working this AM so I ended up eating all fruit except for a grapefruit in the Vitamix. I like the Vitamix but prefer to use it for smoothies and my juicer for juice !

I called Omega and they had me remove the ON/OFF button and unconnect the wires, reconnect, and yahoo. Works again.

I've been MIA over the weekend, so I have a few days to catch up on:

Friday I had a smoothie with watermelon, lemon & mint. very refreshing! then I spent 4 hrs at a raw restaurant in town. sometimes they are short staffed, so I volunteered to be a back-up person. I have a full time job, so I am not looking to pick up hours, but just to fill in as needed from time to time. While I was there I made myself a huge green juice with cucumber, celery, spinach, kale, zucchini, parsley, and ginger. I also had lots of little tastes of different things we were making. When I got home I had the other half of my watermelon smoothie.

On Saturday I had a green juice with cucumber, celery, spinach, pineapple & ginger. Then I had zucchini noodles topped with curry veggies and pineapple. Dinner was chard wraps with broccoli, zucchini, carrots, mushrooms & green peppers.

Sunday I had peaches & raspberries for b-fast. Lunch was at the raw restaurant and I had a portabella burger and a piece of orange creamsicle pie. Dinner was at a Mexican restaurant where I had sliced jicama with guac & salsa, and then a salad with salsa as dressing. oh, and one margarita - yay for just having one! and NO chips - not a single one!

this morning I had a smoothie with spinach, banana and raspberries. then I had a bunch of rainier cherries. now I'm having a salad w/ chard, celery, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, red pepper & olives with a little tamari as dressing. dinner is going to be zucchini pasta & heirloom tomato and basil marinara. ooh, and I have papaya at home...I'll probably have that as a snack if it's ripe - if not, I'll probably have more cherries.

    Default Day 13

    Hi Everybody,

I had a rough day today - headache, sinus pain, backache and super tired - so I think I'm detoxing. Here's what I had today:

    - Green juice of cucumber and romaine
    - Watermelon soup
    - Plum
    - Salad with avocado
    - Mulberries
    - Carrot Onion Bread - about 5 pieces of it since it is so good
    - chocolate truffle
    - Coconut water

Tonight I'm having some acai cheezecake. Will let you know how it is tomorrow.

    Have a good night!
    Michelle

Used my Total Gym Saturday morning and again this morning, mainly working my arms. It feels good to start working out again. My muscles are a little sore so I must be doing something right.

28 oz smoothie with grapefruit juice, strawberries, blueberries, honey, kale, 1 frozen banana
    apple
    cherries
    raw ravioli
    raw brownie
    banana
salad with brassica sprouts, 1 avocado, sun-dried tomato dressing
    Alissa’s apple turnip salad
    ½ seedless cucumber with miso
    52 oz water total

I sprouted some rye berries, so I made Alissa's rye bagel recipe. I had enough sprouted berries to also try a pumpernickel rye essene bread recipe that I found on this website. They are both finishing up in the dehydrator now. This is my first attempt at making raw bread. I tasted a little of each and they were pretty good. I've found I needed to dehdrate them much longer than what was stated in the recipes.

The rye bagel is great with Alissa's onion dip. YUM! My SAD husband says that the onion dip tastes exactly like a real sour cream dip.
