July 9th - Day Nine
-
B - carrot, celery and apple juice, 3 nectarines
S 1/2 avo and some seeds, raw bar and some choc pieces
L - nori and salad, olive and lemon dressing
S - raspberries and green smoothie... spring greens, bananas and coconut oil
D - salad with bok choy and spouted flax powder
Found it really tough today to stick with it but I've done it... broken through the barrier. Really fancied cooked potato! Eek!

Hi all! I didn't get to post yesterday...we are having major computer problems at home!
Here's my wonderful food from yesterday:
tea
kim chi
frozen fruit sorbet
hummus with a whole yellow pepper
more sorbet
I have found that I am a slice and dipper I'm happy to have a sliced veggie to dip in hummus or some other "dressing" and just munch down! Having the hummus prepared, and it lasted for several days (4 I think) and really enjoyed just grabbing that and sitting down to eat!
I'll post later about my foods today. Off to the grocery store!

two smoothies so far today - both were spinach, strawberry & raspberry. plus one had chia seeds and some nectarine.
when I get home I will make one more with chard, nectarine & pluot.
exercise today - 1 hr hot yoga this morning, mountain biking after work

24 oz smoothie with pomegranate blueberry juice, pineapple, 2 frozen bananas, mint, parsley, kale
salad with shredded carrots, shredded red cabbage, brassica sprouts, raw sunflower seeds, sun-dried tomato dressing, marinated mushrooms and onions, Alissa’s easy slaw, avocado, and ½ roma tomato
raw brownie
zucchini spaghetti with tomato sauce and sweet bell peppers
apple
raw nuts and dried fruits

Another long and busy shift at work today, but now a week off and a vacation to Glacier Park.
B: Green Smoothie made with romaine lettuce and 2 apples. I wish I like green smoothies, but I will keep choking them down. Banana leather
L: Green salad with avocado and vinaigrette dressing. Flax crackers, marinated mushrooms, cheeze balls.
S: Marinara sauce with yellow squash noodles and parm cheeze. I like zucchini for noodles a whole lot better. These were too crunchy. Banana leather.

Day 9
Good evening,
I had a good day today but didn't bring enough food with me to work. I had school tonight and found I was really hungry. I waiting until I got home and made a nice green smoothie. Here's what was on the menu today:
- Green juice of cucumber, romaine and chard
- Green smoothie with banana, blueberries, cherries, coconut oil, Blue Manna
- Apple
- Garden salad with avocado
- Raw Crunch bar
- Green smoothie with banana, grapes, strawberries, coconut oil
I have tomorrow off but will be running around all day. My plan is to sleep in and then ensure I have enough food for the road.

Exercise - I really tried to go back to yoga today, but I'm still coughing way too much to be comfortable going to a class. Tomorrow I'm hoping to be back at it.
