    Default Looking for a good Holistic Vet that knows about Raw Feeding...

    Hi,
    I am in Fort myers FL and I have just started feeding my dogs raw and have been reading a lot about holistic vets. I am so happy that more and more people are looking into natural ways to treat dogs:) The reason I need to find a vet is because my 2 dogs are due for their vaccinations (our current vet has been sending out postcards and it has not even been a year yet!). The more I read about over-vaccinating and how harmful it can be, the less I want to take them in for this. There is a lot of great info online, but I would feel more comfortable taking them in to a holistic vet. They are both very healthy dachshunds/mix(ages 2 and 4) and I fed them an Organic dog food I bought online up until now.

    If anyone has any information about holistic vets in Florida, please let me know:)

    Also, have any of you stopped vaccinating your dogs?...Stopped giving them commercial flea medication/heartworm prevention, etc? How did it go? Any info is greatly appreciated

    On the Vaccines, I'm kinda lirey about stopping Vaccines. Their Bodies are different than ours and Parvo is such a deadly Virus to little Animals. They can't tell you where they hurt, its a Dogs Life. Anyway just giving your Post a "BUMP" so you can get the Answer you are L@@king for.
