    Morning all.

B: fruit salad with walnuts, herbal teas with stevia
L: leftover corn chowder, kale salad
    S: apple and grapes
D: big salad with tahini/miso dressing
S: avocado lemon-lime pudding with strawberries

Went to a carnival/fireworks last night. At one point my friends went off to get chili cheese fries, pizza and cotton candy. I stayed behind to guard the lawn chairs, got out my iPod Touch, and read the first few chapters of The Live Food Factor on my Kindle ap. When they got back I couldn't believe how nasty the food looked. :)

posting for days 4, 5 and 6 as I wasn't on the computer this weekend.

Saturday - the 4th of July was day 4. This was day 2 of my 4 day juice feast. In the morning I had a juice of watermelon, lemon and ginger. My first time trying that and I really liked it! In the afternoon I had cucumber, celery, carrot, apple, lemon & ginger.

Sunday was day 5 and day 3 of juicing. In the morning I had the same watermelon combo. In the afternoon I had a veggie juice of bok choy, asparagus, green pepper, celery, & lemon. It was actually better than I thought it was going to be. In the evening I had grape, apple, raspberry, strawberry & lemon. This was SO delicious! Even my husband had some and liked it :)

Today is day 6 of the challenge, and my final day of juicing. This morning I'm having pineapple, apple, celery & lemon. This afternoon I'm having carrot, sweet potato, beet, kale, apple, lemon & ginger.

Tomorrow starts my 4 days of smoothies.

    Goood morning!

Haven't really gotten up yet. It's the perfect time to make plans. I think I'd like a simple day. I'm still feeling queasy at the thought of anything oily or fatty -- so no coconut oil, nuts, or avos for this poor stomach.

Looks like a lot of lettuce, tomatoes, kale, celery (since that's what's in the fridge), and i guess i'll go out and buy some fruits. maybe watermelon! ooo!

At the moment I'm learning to increase my raw foods - I'm in no way vegetarian or raw at the moment. I'd consider myself a "Clean" eater. Just exploring and learning about this exciting way of eating that really interests me.

balance of day was another peach and some nuts and seeds. I am very tired. I am not sure why as I got plenty of sleep. Maybe too much fruit ? crashing...my bike ride was not that tough, or so I thought. Maybe too bed early. I rarely get to bed before 11:30 pm, yawn.

    Kombucha for late dinner.

    Hi!
Another great, energy filled day. I was only able to walk seven miles (not enough hours in the day) but just finished up the evening with an awesome salad with fresh snap peas and green beans from my neighbor's garden. Awesome. I threw some fresh strawberries into my salad and it actually was a nice addition.

Good luck to everyone. Stick with it, you will be so happy you did.

    Default Day 6

    Good evening,

My energy is back again! I notice this first every time I go completely raw... I woke up on my own a little after 4 am and was ready to go for the day. I had a great cardio session before work, and then at lunch decided to go for a walk to enjoy some sun. Here's my food today:

    - Green juice (cucumber, romaine and beet greens)
    - Smoothie - banana, berries, coconut butter, vitamineral greens
    - watermelon soup
    - large salad with avocado
    - two pieces of Pineapple Icebox Dessert (I still have a lot left)
    - coconut milk

Seems like a heavier fat day but I am really feeling satisfied. My mind is clearer and my mood has improved since last week.

    Have a great night!
    Michelle

I'm sick today and feeling pretty sorry for myself.

B - smoothie with berries, flax, banana and spinach; an apple
    L - ginger tea
S - salad with radishes, broccoli, spring mix, mushrooms, pine nuts, raw ranch dressing; two bananas
D - hubby cooked, and I ate it. Moving right along...

Exercise - didn't happen. I was feeling so crummy that taking the girls out on their trikes was activity enough for me.
