Good morning to all. Today is payday, so I'm off to the healthfood store to buy a small pack of chia seeds. Want to see what all the fuss is about.

B: green smoothie with banana, pineapple, strawberries, field greens, hemp, flax and maca.
L: kale salad, veggie wrap, apple, prunes
D: raw zuke pasta and marinara sauce, salad
    S: maybe a chia pudding

last day of my 4 day water fast. Tomorrow I start my 4 day juice feast. I'm really excited for it! My body feels great right now - getting slimmer and stronger. My mind also feels great - I'm thinking more positively and I'm gaining more control. Hope everyone has a great day!

    Hey guys!

Just wanted to say a quick hello before I head off to work. For breakfast today I made a smoothie...sooo good. It was blueberry, nectarine, spinach, banana with almond milk with a touch of cinnamon and vanilla. YUM! :)

I am still having a problem with what to bring to work...we do not have a fridge...only a microwave. LoL. Soo as of now, I am just bringing a mix of almonds, pumpkin seeds and cranberries, simple and delicious. Any ideas out there???

Hope everyone is having a wonderful 2nd day! Talk to you guys later.

Get yourself a softsided cooler and a block of blue ice. You can bring anything you like to work then. Even without a cooler, most fruit and veggies don't need immediate refrigeration. A grocery bag filled with uncut fruit, veggies and a knife = salad ;).

Hello, everyone, I was on the June challenge but my internet has been down for a few days so I could not post the last two days! I have been 100% (to the best of my knowledge) since June 12, so this is day 21 for me. I plan to complete this month and also August 100% raw. So far I have lost about 8 pounds and my knees feel better. Still waiting for that burst of energy, lol, but I know I have been detoxing a lot. Lots of fatigue, loose stools, itchy rash in hard to scratch places But I have faith I will turn the corner soon.
Right now I am having to get creative because I am almost completely out of raw veggies and totally out of fresh fruit. Pay day is tomorrow so I am hanging in there eating an eggplant (the only veggie left in my fridge, lol) and frozen banana smoothies till I can go shopping tomorrow.

Breakfast: smoothie with two apples, banana and kale and a good chunk of ginger
    Lunch: salad with flax crackers

Today is grocery day so I'm almost out of food. I picked some lettuce from the garden but it's not nearly enough. My biggest challenge is afternoon and evening. I get to snacking on too many nuts.

Everyone is so creative ! Me:
    Banana
    then an apple
    Peach and Banana
Died Mango and a handful of nuts
now going to cut a melon so I am sure that will be dinner !

I have some Red Pepper so maybe I should "uncook" and make some wraps as I hate to eat a big salad, but veggies in a wrap would be good.

Rode bike hard for an hour today. I am sore. I try to either run hills, or bike an hour a day.

Today, I started out with a green lemonade, lunch was a green smoothie, snack was nuts and dried fruit. I haven't had dinner yet but I'm planning on fettuccini.

    Cheers,

Breakfast: Banana smoothie with flax and almonds in it
Lunch: sun dried tomato crackers with a little raw mayo
Supper: A really good eggplant casserole made with sun-dried tomatoes and a few olives. I got the recipe from Rainbow Green Live Cuisine by G. Cousens

I will have another banana smoothie for a snack. It is getting close to "that time" and I am craving sweet things.

Looking forward to grocery shopping tomorrow so I can add some green back into my diet! Looks like others are in the same boat. Payday can't come soon enough!

it depends, how is that for an answer ! Some fruits are dried at low temp. but you do have to be careful as many fruits are processed and dried at higher temps. You can usually tell if they are in the bulk bin and covered in sugar ! Also commercially sold like boxed raisins maynot be raw. I dry my own fruit.

I agree, this is exactly what I do. We have a refrigerator at work but it is always packed with different things my coworkers bring in plus leftover items from meetings. Plus nobody keeps it very clean so I keep my food in a soft expandable cooler with a cold block right at my desk. It works great and I can fit a lot in that cooler.

20 oz smoothie with frozen strawberries, blueberries, honey, frozen banana, kale
    pistachios
salad with shredded carrot, shredded red cabbage, 1 avocado, crumbled dehydrated greens, sun-dried tomato dressing
raw chocolate ganache torte from local health food store YUMMY!!
juice: beet, carrot, celery, and apple
    banana
    kale chips
    cherries
    56 oz water total

Whew! Day two is almost over.

I can already feel that I'm retaining less water than I was a few days ago; my jeans fit better than they normally do. Yesterday I felt hungry all day, but I've been more satisfied today and haven't snacked between meals. A bit of a headache today, but nothing severe.

    Looking forward to day three!

B - grapes, strawberries and a few cubes of watermelon with about a teaspoon each of raw almond butter and honey drizzled on top
L - a pear; some almonds and dates
D - a big green salad with mung bean sprouts, radishes, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes and garlicky vinaigrette; strawberries and bananas topped with a drizzle of honey
