She was raw before raw was ever known. She'd be called "high raw" now.

    She's turning 85 on Aug. 12.

She makes me hopeful. I love skip and smile and the end of #2. That certainly a smile to my face.

She just turned 85, Aug. 12th. Friends took her out to a favorite veggie restaurant and presented her with cash, Amazon and Vroman (fave book store) gift cards and soccer balls. lol

They might even want to join in! How fun would that be?

That's why I go to class every Monday evening.... to play with the other "kids", Wanna, being one of them.

There are 3 of us 60 years old. Wanna is, of course the oldest. She's been going to the class for 25 years (as long as it's been going on); Jo's been going for about 24+; I've been going for 23+ and my teacher's been teaching it for 25+.

    Default Consistent Persistence

I found in class last evening that Wanna had taken a pretty bad fall Sunday. She was playing tug-of-war with someone 20+ years her junior and fell over knocking the wind out of herself. People were there to support her in getting her wind back. She continued with the weekend play and showed up last evening with some minor bruising and back pain yet, she participated in much of what we were doing.

Just saying this to show what persistent movement can do. Most any other 85 year old wouldn't have even BEEN playing tug-of-war, never mind getting up without having broken any bones. She even fell on the arm she did break last year.

We were laughing last night about IF they'd had to call for emergency services (they were up in the mountains) the techs would probably have asked how she did it. Um, playing tug-of-war. HAH!

    She's one of my inspirations.

Sorry to hear about her injury.

Funny I was just thinking yesterday how the way we eat affects our physical performance.

On my hike Sat, my daughter and I ran most of the way down. She is half my age mind you. Two days later, yesterday, we were training a bit together and she was wiped and aching. Said last night she hurt all over.
I was able to move freely in our trianing and actually felt waaaay better after it.

I am going out today. Inspiration Rev,,thankx.
