So off to a potluck i went--after almost a week of fasting with just an evening of a raw cheat--then last night -bread and cooked veg. chili--not bad considering the junk there--but slipped today--more chili--i had brought it!! That is the largest amount of cooked food i have had in weeks! I haven't had bread, choc. or ice cream in about 3 wks and have been 95% raw with the odd cooked potato fry and dressing sneaking in. But let me just say--the food tasted, well , not real if that makes sense--and worse--after eating it i felt absolutely awful. That horrible full feeling i used to always have--i don't ever feel awful when i eat raw. So i know i am getting there and that was an experience for me just to notice the incredible difference back to back. I know i am on my way--and i have lost weight and just felt so light all the time. Sad part there was hearing parents say" no Joey, no junk food till you eat your supper, now go have a hot dog!". Poor child. That and they were carving pumpkins and guess where all those wonderful seeds went--in a huge wheelbarrow destined for the compost bin. What a pity!!
So here is to all of us on our journey--we are doing great!! But i am wondering what the rest of you 'not quite there yets' do in these situations? Also what is your cooked food 'weakness' and what do you do about it?

I wonder if there is a raw version?? Thanks Rawkinlocs and Vegbaby for the kind words! It is all a journey and like Feelin' Good said, its the way one feels after eating cooked-just not the same and makes you want to stay raw.
