My stomach is still hurting really badly on and off...managed to eat a bit more today and go for a short run though. I really think it's stress-related.

-green smoothie w/ 2 regular bananas and a "junior" banana, frozen fruit, kale
    -banana pre-run
w/o: 3 miles, then had to stop b/c of stomach
    -2 bananas
    -mango & banana fruit salad
-large salad w/ red leaf lettuce, baby romaine, carrots, tomato, red pepper, cucumber, 2/3 of a really good avocado, and vinegar
-2 bananas & an apple, now I'm in sooo much pain though! Ugh!

Meow, You may want to lay off the bananas, they have a very high sugar content (17-19 grams each) and are considered a heavy food according to Ayurveda, heavy foods are hard to digest and bananas seem to bother alot of peeps causing them really bad stomach aches. Try eating a good amount of shreaded ginger for a few days. Some say you should drink a little water with the banana. When you eat 4-5 at one sitting that is an aweful amount of sugar and alot of heavy food for your stomach to digest. I'm sorry to inform you of this, knowing that you are one that worships the banana. Go to http://www.himalayaninstitute.org/yo...e.aspx?id=2027 and scroll down to Problem #3 and read that and perform those techniques to restart your digestive fire (Agni) again, there are some techniques there that work real well, good luck and I hope you can enjoy your bananas again soon.

    Today
    B-2 plums

L-sea veggie cream soup, sea veggies

S-slice of banana key lime pie

S-grapes and raw, sprouted pistachios (these were very good) buying them this way is very expensive so I will buy some raw and sprout my own. They taste much better than roasted any day!

D-raw granola with mom's homemade raw sprouted almond milk sweetened with dates and served with sliced banana

    S-chocolate tapiaoca pudding

Just got back from my camping trip. I stayed raw all weekend. It was cold and rainy and miserable much of the time and I have to say I was rather tempted when I saw my family munching away on nice hot cheeseburgers cooked over the fire. I miss hot food, especially on cold days, and I live in Montana, so it gets cold a LOT!
Today I had no appetite. I have been "eliminating" a lot, which was no fun in a cold, smelly backwoods outhouse! I don't feel particularly bad and in fact went on a hike for the first time in a long time (am I ever sore) and even did a tiny bit of rock climbing.
    Breakfast: 1 banana
    Lunch: Cashews, one nectarine
Supper: a few raw crackers and some seed cheese

Getting back on the wagon after being off raw for over a year.

K, I really need to stop the evening eating thing. Sometimes I really am not hungry and water will help, and sometimes it is just me dealing with stress or lack of calories while at work. Since they only have one person going around taking breaks I didn't get my break today until 1pm! I like to eat lunch between 11:30 and 12 so by the tiem I did get lunch I felt really sick and drained of all energy (like I was going to passout or something!) At least my evening eating is raw foods...I would just like to go to bed feeling lighter rather than a heavier tummy feeling...
