B-banana, pineapple, blueberry, chard leaves, apple and dates smoothie

    S-plum

L-1/3 of a lettuce rap, the other 2/3s didn't get eaten because the preparer (who obviously doesn't understand RAW) put cooked sweet potato in it. So I proceded to ask him to put some chicken in it while he was at it. I'm just giving up on eating out at health food eateries. I came home and had dinner instead.

D-raw chili w/ sunflower sprouts and green onions.

S-Apple/banana mint shake................darn I forgot to put the chocolate in there

Good job, Juwo! Stay strong and keep your goals in mind!

I am still detoxing like crazy, but was at least able to get some exercise today. I have felt very weak and flu-like though. I can't wait til it passes!

-green smoothie w/ 3 bananas, frozen strawberries/mango/blueberries and kale. 3 more bananas.
    -3 more bananas & 2 apples
    *50 min. hilly power walk*
-half a banana; half a raw sweet potato sliced thin w/ guacamole
-salad w/ baby romaine, mushrooms, red pepper, tomato, carrots, cucumber, vinegar
    *40-ish minute walk*
-1.5 bananas, cup of fresh strawberries

I seem to be detoxing too. Details in my blog So I am hanging out in bed taking it easy.

B: almond milk and banana smoothie. Got me through plasma donation in good shape.
L: raw guacamole with celery sticks, banana
S: a bare naked salad, as the two batches of vinaigrette I have made keep getting knocked over and spilled.

I still need to eat more, probably will have some almond milk and maybe an apple or something for a snack, if I can find the energy to get out of bed and make it.

Still doing the 99% thing as I still catch myself tasting my husband's food once in a while. Also, I realized another habit I had was taking the prenatal/postpartum multivitamins that my doctor convinced me I needed while I was pregnant and breastfeeding. Although I am still breastfeeding I am a raw foody so I am confident that I DO NOT need them (plus the ingredients have been processed anyways). So, out they go! (I will be giving them to my roommate who is pregnant and eats a very much so SAD).

Felt really gross today. Woozy and nauseous.... I think it may have been from a smoothie I drank last night and some this morning, made of dandelion greens and cucumber. I will NEVER make that foul concoction again. My husband chopped up some cucumber for our salads this evening, and I couldn't even stand the smell, thanks to associating it with the smoothie.

S - glass of watermelon juice
B - buckwheat/zucchini bread with cashew butter and a banana
S - several flax crackers, some jicama garlic toasts
L - large green salad at Whole Foods
    S - bowl of grapes
    S - several slices watermelon
D - large salad with red leaf lettuce, onion, shredded beet and carrot, alfalfa sprouts, Korean radish and miso dressing.
    S - strawberry sorbet with walnut/date brownie.

I can't wait until I can hang in there long enough to actually begin detoxing. Unfortunately, although I was completely raw yesterday, I smoked cigarettes! haha. one day at a time, just one day at a time. Not stressing it, just owning it.

I was extremely blessed today -- I scored bags and bags of free organic produce. It would have been thrown away from the local co-op because it was slightly wilted, but the co-op was awesome enough to give it to a friend of mine. Tons of kale, spinache, chard, lettuce, zucchini, radishes, carrots, and oranges. I am so grateful and ecstatic.:) I don't have a steady job right now, so it's gifts like this that keep me afloat and raw.

    today was:
B--lettuce and mache salad with pine nut pesto
    S--GoRaw spirulina bar
    L--avocado with limejuice, summer squash
S--Cherries from a tree that I biked past
D--a huge lettuce salad with tomato, celery, scallion, cucumber and olives. And a strawberry kombucha to wash it all down.
