wait...what day is it? Is today the 10th or the 9th? haha. lost track.

whatever, today is gorgeous and rawsome. Bananas and cayenne pepper. Always lots of hot pepper. On everything. Saw some old friends today who I haven't seen in a year -- they couldn't believe their eyes. apparently I'm looking much healthier than a year ago! makes sense, I feel much healthier.:)

Feeling loads better today. It's strange but the pains worked up my body. One day it was my legs then the next the lower body. Last night it was my chest. It started in the ribs then the diaphragm, lungs and around the heart. My breathing became shallow. My partner made me call NHS 24. He was convinced I had swine flu. I wouldn't have called but my Mum started having similar symptoms. It's not, thankfully, which I knew deep down, but it put his mind at rest. My Mum has the flu. I have a very bad case of detox.
It makes me wonder about the condition my body must have been in for it to have hit me this bad. I'm not the sort of person who give into pain or illness easily. I'm never off work when I'm ill and never take pain killers.

Thank you for all your kind words yesterday. It helped me not reach for that slice of toast.

Managed a banana, mango and 3 mushrooms lots of water.

Redrocket - SAD means Standard American Diet

20 oz smoothie – date water, pineapple, broccoli sprouts, kale, frozen banana
raw trail mix (cashews, almonds, walnuts, raisins, cranberries)
spiral slicer zucchini with raw tomato sauce (2 tomatoes, agave, kale, shitake mushroom stems, dried basil, thyme, oregano, and salt)
    3 dates stuffed with walnuts
    Alissa’s spinach slaw
2 bowls miso shitake mushroom soup
    Alissa’s raspberry banana pudding pie
    48 oz water

I will probably be awake for a couple more hours so if I get hungry I'll have celery with almond butter and honey and some more water.

    Woohoo 10 days! Congrats everyone!

    -3 bananas, a lara bar
-huge salad w/ baby romaine, about 1/3 of an avocado, half a red pepper, half a tomato, carrots, mushrooms & vinegar; apple; nectarine; banana. Was starving and had tons of physical work to do this afternoon!
-2 bananas w/ raw cacao powder
-another big salad w/ romaine, baby romaine, mixed greens, carrots, half a red pepper, a tomato, mushrooms & vinegar; 2 bananas w/ raw cacao powder

Workouts for the day were work- I don't think I stopped walking/moving/lifting all day!- plus a 3 mile run.

I'm definitely detoxing- the headache yesterday, a couple pimples today which I never get...oh well, it's necessary I suppose!

    Enjoying the journey! :)

The GS Challenge on the other board is going great, too - one woman reported results of being able to urinate NATURALLY for the first time in a looong time. That may seem like TMI, but imagine getting those results just on drinking one GS a day!

Had a pretty good day. Got up really early and went for a 70 minute bike ride before work. After work went to the new weekly farmers market which is two blocks from where I live!

B - green smoothie with spinach, apple, banana, pineapple, chia
S - 1/2 slice zucchini bread with almond butter and an apple
L - 1 slice zucchini bread with an avocado
    S - one mango, 2 kiwis
D - large mixed green salad with cucumber, tomato, sunflower sprouts, 1/2 avocado, and EVO dill dressing.

I'm still a bit peckish so may have some frozen fruit run through the Champion juicer in a little while.

Today I tried 2 new things: I made "popcorn" with cauliflower, sea salt, nutritional yeast, and cayenne pepper (it was so good!); and I had pancakes made out of ground flax seeds, bananas, and cinnamon (I had dehydrated them) and ate them with some blended mango as my syrup -I am so glad that I came across this recipe as I will never miss SAD pancakes again! So today was good and I have new recipes to try tomorrow :)

I know we're not supposed to complain about falling off the wagon...but i'm gonna do it anyway. In fact, I've been falling off the wagon so much lately that I don't know if I can call myself RAW . This makes me unhappy and it reveals a pattern -- one exception to the rule here, one taste of cooked food there, and before you know it you're SAD.

tomorrow I'm picking myself up, dusting myself off, eating lots of clean greens and fresh fruits (and not so many raw snack foods or nuts), and contemplating photosynthesis. Rawk on people.

Don't beat yourself up too much. It seems like you recognize what tempted you to return to cooked food so now you can avoid it. Good luck and keep positive! :)
