    Talking healthmaster like vitamix?

Greetings. I just saw a commercial from Montel Williams who is selling a new blender called HealthMaster. Has the same capabilties like a vitamix and is computerized like a Blendtac. I love my vitamix and would not live without it esp since it has a long warrenty but i was wondering if anyone has heard about this new blender. It is suppose to cost around 300. Peace

There are Mixed reviews on it. Apparently its the same as Jack Lalane used to push although they could have improved on it now.

You already have the Cadillac in the Vita-Mix.

I have the one that Jack LaLanne pushed, and I love it! I have also been watching those infomercials with the new Healthmaster blender and all the fun things it blends. :)
The base is different than mine is, since mine isn't computerized. But the pitcher is almost the same, the blade is the same, it's not much different but the price.
I paid $129 for mine 2 years ago. Montel wants $200 for his.
Last I heard, Jack LaLanne is still selling his. I saw a recent infomercial where he was touting it along with his wife.
I just don't see how they can both be called the Health Master unless Montel bought the rights to it or something.

When or if my Jack LaLanne Healthmaster ever dies, I want to get a Blendtec. :)

consider a slow rpm juicer rather than high speed blender... they yield you an excellent quality juice plus you can use them for processing jobs (pasta, nut butter etc...) plus quiet and 'humane' operation

I really need a good strong! Blender so seeing this I went to amazon and this thing got baaaaaaaaad reviews. Some went back after a good review and said the canisters fall apart. I was hoping for the money it would have worked ......
It may not appear so, but on the Molecular Level, I'm actually pretty busy....

Just keep saving for that Vita-Mix. It has a 7year Warrenty and after that they will STILL advise you. I've heard they are Cheaper at Costco. I'd go there and do a little "Window Shopping"........Hey pull out the old C.C. and help the Economy.

I can't do a vitamix right now. It's totally a money thing and will be for some time. I did call the number on this and they will have replacement canisters etc and parts in the next 3-4 weeks. If I do easy pay I can do it. *sigh* I just want good food. I just want something to help me over all. You know?

I had bought Jack LaLanne's Healthmaster (which he calls the Healthmaster 100). It worked for close to a year then it broke down. They sent a replacement, which only lasted a few months. I called them and got a refund - didn't want another replacement. I have seen the new infomercial with Montel and what makes me think it is the same machine, maybe upgraded or something, is that the lady doing the infomercial with Montel is the same lady who does the infomercial with Jack LaLanne. Also, if you pay close attention to Montel's infomercial you will see that the little books that you get with Jack LaLanne's products are the same as the ones that come with Montel's machine. Since my first time seeing the infomercial with Montel for the Healthmaster, I have not seen the infomercial with Jack LaLanne for the Healthmaster 100. I'm just saying.

    Default Vitamix

I've had my Vita-Mix for 30 years and it still runs like new! If you bought a car that could last that long you would call it a Rolls Royce. That's what my Vita-Mix is, the Rolls Royce of blenders. My on/off switch did go out during those 30 years and for $1.87 I bought a new one and replaced it myself. LOVE IT!!!

I have never used a "HealthMaster" but from my research I can tell that the "HealthMaster" is made in China, while the extremely reliable Vita-Mix is made over in the USA. I'd take a Vita-Mix any day.

    Best of luck.

What? how is it more humane to get a juicer vs a blender? how is juicer better than a mix? from what i understand, it's like comparing apples with oranges... seeds are good... Juice is good.

I've been using my Jack LaLanne Healthmaster for 2 years now, several times a week. I have had no problems at all. I wash it out immediately after using it, drain upside down, am gentle with it. I hope it lasts a few more years. And when it breaks, I will be buying the Blendtec. I only got the one I have because my husband is a cheapie.
Now I just heard that the Jack LaLanne Healthmaster is discontinued, and Montel bought the rights to it, changed it a little and is selling it for more money.
I have also seen the infomericals which leave me a little mesmerized seeing him put in whole carrots and celery that my current blender cannot handle. But I won't buy that one. I just like seeing all the goodies get blended up.
I still think the Healthmaster whether Jack LaLanne or Montel Williams is hawking it, is still a good beginner blender for green smoothies. For those on a budget, try it. If you clean it out and drain it upside down(the carafe) right away, it will last a long time. If you leave water in it or other gunk and wait to clean it, the blades will start to rust according to some. It takes me a minute to clean it all up with a nice sprayer on my sink. Treat it nice and it will treat you nice with delicious and nutritious green smoothies, raw soups and other raw goodies. :)
