Saturday and Sunday were not very wise food choices - mostly cooked food.

Today I woke up tired and so very sore. My hand is going numb on me again. For the 5 days I was 100% last week, I woke up with energy, had no pains in my knees and had no trouble with numbness in my hand. The few days before going raw, my ear was so sore, itchy, and my hearing was affected by it. After a couple of days being raw, the pain was gone as was the itchiness and my hearing was better. Now just after 2 day of not being raw, I am back to where I was before.

There is a quote by Anthony Robbins "NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS BEING HEALTHY FEELS." I think I get it now.

Today I will be 100% raw starting the day with a green smoothie followed in about an hour with some fruit. Lunch will be a salad. Supper will be a salad as well.

Have a great raw day! I plan to. ;)

Enjoying this 100% RAW Journey... feeling much encouraged - I have been denying my SAD-impulses, and feeding myself extra greens and goodies whenever I feel tempted.

    It's working....

    garden! woohoo!
This summer I'm staying in a house that has a big established garden, so I've been working around in it all day today, weeding etc. I harvested some strawberries and big patch of chickweed, which I ate in a salad with some young collards, and a dressing of ACV, olive oil, agave syrup, cayenne pepper and cumin.

I feel so dumb for eating so much store bought food, when there's more than any of us can possibly eat right outside.

I am experiencing a little sadness this evening, being in the city. I feel a deep desire to be in nature. Fresh air and surrounded by fragrant trees.

Among the things I ate today was another soup, this time a cream of spinach soup. The funny thing is that when I ate cooked I didn't really like soup but now that I eat raw, I love them! Not only are they incredibly fast to make, but they are so flavorful without all that added fat! It is only my second soup but I think I am becoming a soup fan.... :P

One thing I'm loving about this is it's forcing me to take my lunch to work. I'm generally lucky in that I have a vegan place to buy lunch across the street from where I work, but their raw offerings are rather limited (plus I would rather avoid the temptation of their cooked food).

B - green smoothie with banana, apple, pineapple and collards
L - left-over kelp noodles with young coconut curry & veggie sauce and a sandwich made with buckwheat/zucchini/sun-dried tomato bread, almond butter and cucumber slices
    S - banana, a few dates
D - large salad with mixed greens, shredded carrot and beet, onion, tomato, hemp seeds, salsa and sesame dressing
    S - young coconut ice-cream
