    Thank you.:)
I had a cup of black coffee this morning, but that will be the last one.

Breakfast was half a banana, an orange and a pear, and a slice of tomato, I couldn't finish the tomato so I'll have the rest for a snack. Oh, and lot's of water.
Snack- three quarters of a roma tomato and a handful of raw hazelnuts and two carrots
Lunch- Big salad with mixed greens from my sisters garden, peppers, radishes, pea pods, cucumber, sunflower seeds, mushrooms and hazelnuts.
Snack- Trail mix of raisins, pine nuts, almonds, dried berries and a few more hazelnuts
Dinner- Cucumber, tomato, avocado and a half ear of corn.
Snack- Banana, some cantaloupe and a couple Strawberries.

I know that there are a few things that weren`t raw, like balsamic vinegar and my olive oil isn't cold pressed, and I'm not sure about the dried berries, but I got through the day. I am probably eating too many nuts but I will cut down later, and I seem to need them to feel full. At least they are all raw nuts.:)

woke up today with the most smooth, wonderful skin i've ever had in my entire life. i've had acne for years, and finally today it seems to have gone.
I am so grateful. Now, there's only lots of hyperpigmentation left, as well as the old habit of picking and worrying about how i look. But that's the easy part. The important thing is that i'm getting clear signals from my body that i'm doing something good.

    Today i've had..
B - Big green juice, fruit salad of banana, mango, blackberries and orange
L - Salad (carrot, bok choi, celery, sprouted hummus, kim chee
D - My favourite thing i've had so far: Zucchini noodles with a big salad of fresh green cabbage, broccoli. I cut up the broccoli and cabbage and mashed them with my hands for quite a while with evoo, lemon juice and herbs. Then i added the avo and mashed until it was all somewhat broken and soft. Sooooo delicious!
    S - modified mini-RPbrownie (mad w pecans)

    Peace

Here I am...late. I have been raw the past three days. I fell off 5/31, but we won't go there.
My kitchen has turned into a farmer's market.
    My homeowner's association is upset because I am growing a vegtable garden in the front yard. {So happy they have not seen the back yard}
My hubby says fruit flies are my new pets. [It was the bananas]
New changes for me as follows:
I am limiting my calories to 2000 or less. [Yes, I eat that much!]
    I am going to quit eating 4 hours before bedtime. {Sometimes that will be 6pm and sometimes that will be 4am, depends on work, :)}
I am going to make a great attempt to avoid restuarants. I have no will power!

That is so wonderful that your skin is clearing up. I've had acne my whole life also, and I can only dream of having clear skin. I took Acutane when I was a teenager, and I had a blissful year of clear skin, but it came back.

    Day 3!!!!

Today I had raw muslei for breakfast with lots of berries.
Kale and avocado salad for lunch with a piece of raw "bread"
Dinner will probably be a big ol salad!

I have been on and off again raw for over a year now and it seems that every time I go ON again the 2nd day or so I get super irratible. Does this happen to anyone else?? Why does it happen?? I do not like feeling like I am not in control of my mood but yesterday I felt totally out of control and YIKES--angry! Any feedback is very appreciated!

    With thanks,
    Cynthia

I generally get very irritable when I am cheating and for a couple of days when I am going back on to RAW. Mine has to do with feeling so ill and all the hot flashs when I cheat.

Congrats on day 3 everyone! Today was delicious!

-green smoothie w/ 2 bananas, frozen mango/strawberries/blueberries & kale; banana w/ raw cacao powder & 1 T raw almond butter
-huge baby romaine salad w/ a tomato, half a red pepper, mushrooms & vinegar; 2 bananas
    -apple, banana
    *3 mile run*
-sweet potato "chips" w/ guac (just half of a sliced up raw sweet potato- so good!); 2 bananas w/ raw cacao powder and 1.5 T raw almond butter for dessert

Today was a much better day food-wise and I felt it in my energy levels and overall mood. The cooked breads cravings that I was having about a week ago is gone and I haven't had any desire for cooked foods in a couple days...yay!

I've very happily enjoying 100% raw days this month... Day 3 has gone very well. I've been sipping a GS, munching a big salad, and looking forward to my favorite Tomato Soup dinner!!!

I had a challenge today but thankfully met it. I'm not sure if we're allowed to talk about that in this thread so it's in my blog. Rainbows and puppy dogs and all that good stuff!

So my food looked like this:

    1. two bananas
    2. Green smoothie and vegetables (about a cup)
    3. three bananas
    4. Handful of dried apricots, two medjool dates and about an ounce and a half of raw cashews

Cynthia Z I have a few ideas that could be causing your irritability:

    -your body may be detoxing
-if you see other people eating cooked things you want you may feel deprived
-can depend on family or friend support or lack thereof

These are just a few ideas. I hope that whatever is causing it you can get over it quickly and go on to enjoying a plentiful life of raw.

As for my raw food today:
I got called into work today and didn't have a lunch prepared so I grabbed a couple apples and a pear but they definitely did not last me through! I could have gone out for lunch but the idea of eating limp dead lettuce at some restaurant just didn't seem very appealing. However, when I got home I tried my first raw soup: Miso, it was SO GOOD! And super easy and took like 5 minutes to make.

A question for you all: I was feeling VERY dizzy and not too good today. This is not a usual symptom from eating raw for me. Is this from all those raw unsoaked nuts I ate the other day?

    :) LiveLife :)

My food was all over the place today - but it was all raw.

Hubby made smoothies today and so I had 1 green one with parsley and nectaries and then a fruit smoothie with pineapple, Saskatoon berries, raspberries, and dragon fruit.

I also had 3 bananas some cashews, 2 celery sticks and a bowl of salad.

I really need to plan - gotta stop talking about it and actually do it!
