    Default Recipe: Raspberry Pie

I was really in the mood for a real treat tonight so I came up with the following pie. It was SO good and the colour was unbelievable!

    Ingredients for crust:

    1 1/2 cups walnuts
    1/2 cup cashews
    5 soaked dates
    1/2 cup raisins

Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Press it down into a pie dish and chill it for an hour.

    Ingredients for filling:

    2 1/2 cup frozen raspberrys
    2-3 bananas
    2-3 tbs honey

Mix everything in a food processor until you end up with something that's like icecream. Add more honey if it isn't sweet enough (remember that the crust is pretty sweet). Pour it into the crust and serve straight away!

wow that sounds really good!! My only question is that when I usually make anything with raspberries I get the tiny seeds stuck in my teeth. I hate it. But I love the taste of raspberry. So in this pie is it really "seedy"?

Yes, it's pretty seedy but I think you could substitute the raspberry with something else if you'd like. Maybe frozen strawberries, blueberries or maybe even frozen mango that might be delicious!
