    Default day 25 people!!!

Hi raw fambly! Only five days left in here, then it's time to face the real world (or the june challenge )...

I feel sooooo much better today than yesterday, this morning i just flew uóut of bed, i was singing all day at work...this just keeps getting better and better!

yesterday my mom asked me if i knew anything about healing her stomach pains. She had parasites before, which regular meds killed off and now she's suspecting ibs. Well, i introduced her to GS, and said that if i were her i wouldn't chang anything aobut my diet BUT add 1 quart of GS a day and see where that took me.
Having recently read Green for life i'm pretty confident at least some good will come out of that. Hopefully she'll gain some energy, maybe her stomach will start healing..

    Anyways, today i've had...
B - soaked oat groats, mylk, apple, seeds and rasins
    S - ruby grapefruit
Late lunch - salad of: tomatoes, apple, red onion, sauerkraut, avocado, kimchee and sprouted hummus
    S - Rasins
S - BIG green juice (yeh, i tried to liquify parsley again. bad idea. made juice instead): parsley, apple, pear
    S - apple and kiwi
D - 2 lbs of watermelon! oh yeah!

Here is what I have eaten so far:
LOTS of green juice: spinach, oranges, apple and celery- yum- I crave this stuff.
Sprouted quinoa with celery, and dried unsulfured cherries with dressing- I keep trying to figure out my health food store's recipe- still not as good.
choc cake with lots of strawberries
probably have salad for dinner and fruit- going to a friends. I am taking raw crackers just in case.
Happy memorial day- thank you to all who have and are serving. Thank you also to the families that hold things together while they are serving- you too are heros.

Hi everyone! I was gone for most of the day today but here's what I managed to eat:

-2 bananas w/ raw cacao powder at 5 AM- had so much energy this morning and woke up super early
-green smoothie w/ 2 bananas, frozen strawberries, mango & blueberries and kale
    -apple & banana
-spinach salad w/ button mushrooms, red pepper, red onions and a little balsamic vinaigrette at a restaurant- the "rawest" thing they had although I doubt the dressing was raw
-a couple dried cranberries/raisins that I picked out of a trail mix...they were disgusting though!
-banana w/ raw cacao powder as soon as I got home!
-planning on another salad w/ romaine, yellow pepper, carrots, tomato, 1/3 avo and vinegar, followed by a bowl of cherries for dessert

This is really becoming a habit for me again- makes me so happy! I was tempted by seeing my family's cooked foods at lunch, but only b/c my salad was pretty measly for a raw foodist and I was still hungry. Really all I wanted was a couple bananas!

    Default Checking In From Vacation

Hello All: I am enjoying my vacation and have managed to maintain my Rawness except for coffee I had on my drive from Atlanta to North Carolina. I was so tired, I need it to stay awake. I felt horrible that evening, jittery and could not sleep, but now I am back to all Raw. My friend took me to a great market that had raw foods entres and I bought some items. I also bought my personal blender and have been having delicious shakes and fruit in the morning.

So far, it has not been hard to maintain my Rawness and I'm sure the rest of the trip will not be a problem. This is what I ate today:

    B: Strawberry/bananna shake
    S: Larabar
L: Portabello Mushroom stuffed with avocado
    D: Kake, salad, piaza
    D: Slice of cheezecake

My bestfriend decided to go Raw again. She had fell off the wagon. She told me that my skin was glowing and beautiful.

    Blessings All.

    let's see...

B: lil bowl of cherries (removed the pits) with brazil nut mylk, cinnamon, drop of agave, pinch of salt (tasted EXACTLY like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, weirdly enough)
    S: peaches
    L: string beans, curried Kale
S: GoRAw chocolate super cookies (Yes...I ate the whole bag)
D: finished off the curried kale

Got on the scale yesterday night for the first time since christmas -- lost ten pounds! don't know how much of that is from this month, but who cares! I lost 10 pounds without trying! way to go body.

Cna't wait to see you back, CS!!

Something WEIRD happened this morning. I was getting ready for work and felt like my hands were swelling. My palms were BRIGHT red, swollen and painful. I popped some of my green vitamin supplements and 2 B-12s (I'm bad about taking them).... Then my tongue started to swell up. No kidding my tongue was taking over my mouth. I had to take some Benadryl. Luckily I have an employer that was very gracious and let me stay home today. I still feel a bit off kilter- a bit dizzy and just off.... The only thing that was different was that I peeled a pineapple (without washing it first) and ate some of it last night. It seemed not quite ripe. FWIW- it was organic from my lovely co-op!! Other than that, *nothing* had changed.

After dropping the kiddos off at school I went to the grocery store to have them peel and core the other pineapple. This is FUNNY- they were going to charge me $3 to core and peel the pineapple, but I declined. Then the produce manager showed me a slicer tool they sell for $9.99. I said Nah- I'll just mangle this one like I did the pineapple yesterday. He gave the tool to me for FREE!! I loooove my Publix grocery stores. Since finding my NFS and the co-op I give them WAY less money each week, but their service is just the bomb! When I got home I put the not-so-ripe pineapple in the compost... I'm not taking any chances!!

    Anyhoo- so far today-
B- Green smoothie (part of it was leftover and while eating it that is when I started swelling up, but I had all the same foods before (frozen berries)...weird...

S- Lots of watermelon and a bit of pineapple (no reaction).

L- I'll eat the salad I was going to take to work later on.

    S- More watermelon, I'm sure!

D- Salmon pate I made last night...

Have a great raw day, folks!! :) :)

I think I'll cross post about my tongue issue to see if I can get some answers.

A very long day returned to work after Monday off, what an adjustment in getting back into the mode of schedule lol lol. I mostly consumed slices of fruit and veggies the whole day, just not in the mood for anything else.
