Hey, speaking of cake and such ... I've been wondering... is it okay for raw-foodists to light their birthday candles?...

Charmed I'm sure
Hi LavendarJ,
That's cool if you want to call it "Simply Divine". Joyce ,beginning in June is great.
Klomasius, Springtime, Renee H et al, please come along and show us you're fabulicious raw chefs.
So I went roaming along the high street in Kings Cross, in Sydney, and at the newsagent near Coles Supermarket found a beautiful blue box, that looks like the ones you get from Tiffanys.
Also at another newsagent on the high street I found a beautiful yellow box that would do just as well.
So depending on what boxes are in stock once the bracelet is finished, will determine the packaging of the charm bracelet, which is first prize in this recipe challenge.
As Paris Hilton says, the bracelet is hotness itself!
And the second prize, the post card will be a bit of a mystery prize, but that's all I'm saying for now.
It's beautiful weather in Sydney, Australia today, so I've gotta go. Winter will be here in a few days, so gotta enjoy whatever is left of the sun.
Totally useless trivia: I've been told that amniotic fluid has the exact same composition as sea water, and that we have gills in the womb. Anyone know if this is true?
Off to do more research on muntries (munthari berries).
So everyone please show us what you can do, with a simply divine ;) raw version of Mortal Sin.
Raw decadence rawks.
Carla.

So, do i post my recipe + pics here, or e-mail them to you? Or can i just post the link to my blog where it's all at?

Oh gosh, I almost forgot about this.
In Vermont the summers are very short and we have to take advantage of the precious fresh local strawberries, etc.
I'm thinking of making a cousin to the mortal sin cake this holiday weekend :) (Independence Day/4th of July weekend here in the States). I want to do a sort of layer cake with red, white and blue shades using strawberries and blueberries and a white chocolate layer. Although the blue might end up being more purple. But it's the spirit that counts!
I do want to give this mortal sin cake a try when fresh local berries and fruit won't be available to us.....which will happen quickly....
Anyhoo, I look forward to seeing photos of other raw dessert enthusiasts who do create their own mortal sin ;)

Just post it here

Hi Springtime,
Just post your pics and recipes here:);). I have to make another charm bracelet for
1st prize as I ended up giving away the one I made previously to a lady who needed a b'day gift for her daughter, and the family has been through such a rough time, I thought it would be a good thing to do.
So another charm bracelet is being made, but probably won't be finished till August or so, because it's school holidays right now, and I am painting a lot of art work, and hopefully might be able to exhibit in October or November.
Still I've got to go, as I have an art exhibition to attend. I also full of paint,( got green splotches all over me) and don't have time to go home and change as I was in the studio today.

First prize
Hi everyone,
Since no one else has bothered to enter this recipe challenge but Rawbecka, I am on the verge of giving her the first prize, which is the new charm bracelet that I am making and hope to finish by next Thursday.
So I am giving everyone a heads up, and if you want to be in with a chance to win, you need to enter, because once I finish this bracelet, if Rawbecka is still the only entrant, then she's getting the bracelet.
Carla.
