    Smile Im gardening!

Ive planted seeds for beets, carrots and spinach as well as corriander (cilantro). The first 3 are outside and not much seems to be happening with them, but yesterday evening I noticed a tiny coriander sprout. This morning there were 4 tiny sprouts and this afternoon when I got home from work they had shot up and one was nearly an inch tall. Im so excited to be growing my own food.

That is the best feeling in the world. Going out and playing in soil and seeing it all grow. Love it. And the critters that come to visit are sweet too. awww Hoppy gardening.

It is fun, isn't it. This is the first year I really put time/energy into it and am able to actually go out and eat from it almost daily. Good on ya!

Glad to hear it!!! We enjoy gardening here too!!!

If you have the space in a garage or somewhere - start the seeds indoors and put them under a light for a few months before you can plant outdoors - helps get a good head start on a lot of things!!!

Everything is sprouting now - my spinach and beets are still very very tiny but my carrots are looking good and Im going to thin them out after the weekend. The corriander/cilantro is doing really well on the window sill. It is going to save me a fortune if it comes out ok!
