May 12th 2009 Raw Challenge - Day Twelve
-
Hey All,
Had chips on Mothers day and I am so craving cooked food. I am doing green drinks today and smoothies to curb the cravings. I am making hummus for tomorrow...will be my first attempt at that. I have a HA today....probably from the chips and slept like cr@p the last 2 nights...really can tell when I slip cause my body sends me messages loud and clear. Hope everyone is doing wonderful in this months challenge!

I had
- a pineapple and some strawberries for breakfast (yummy)
- an avocado for lunch (plums and cherries as dessert)
- pears and more plums in between
- now I have just eaten a lot of cashew nuts (actually, i wanted to cut down on nuts but I was craving them so much)
- I have also gathered wild herbs which I am going to eat with cucumber for dinner.
Sports: Weights and cardio in the gym.

day 12
Hiya rawkstars!
I've had a major headache today, which is very rare, i never get them unless i'm really tense or nervous. I guess i slept badly tonight after working too too late.
Wel, i'm going to bed soon, so it'll probably clear up by tomorrow.
I tasted a piece of standard chocolate to see if my tastebuds had changed, and omg, the difference! It felt as if my mouth was coated with some kind of lard, and the chocolate taste wasn't that great at all.. I am so staying raw!
Other foods today:
B - buckwheat cereal, apple, mylk
S - pear
L - salad of arugula, sprouts, carrot and avocado, as well as 2 oranges and 2 kiwis
S - 3 figs, 1 apple, 1 tangerine
D - fake creal (banana, apple, mylk and seeds)
Rehersals kept me from making a proper meal, so now i'm really hungry, even though it's time for bed... i'll just make a cuppa tea and dream of breakfast

mstrish, i agree that the cooked food gives you a food hangover that makes you suffer for days! And greens help me as well.
keeping it raw today. :)
