Red lettuce, i'm not into the bitter taste
-
Most veggies I tolerate. I don't think any of them (alone in natural state) make me go "Cor!" LOL! But there are a few that I just don't like at all: mushrooms (if you consider those veggies), radishes, mustard/turnip greens (I always skip right over them and go for the kale and/or collards), and I'm sure there are others I can't think of right now.
-
I can't think of a single vegetable I don't like ... I used to HATE zucchini, but since I've tried it in others' fantastic raw dishes, I've added it to my "favorite veggies" list!

When I make a salad have a hard time putting broccoli in it. Taste to me is, hmm overpowering. But I think in a raw recipe with other stuff or sauce I could do it okay. :)

Broccoli and dandelion greens are not my favorite, but I can tolerate them in small doses.

Broccoli is one of my favorite cooked foods, but I can't tolerate it raw. I get the worst broccoli gas, lol!
Don't like fennel either . . . never have liked anise flavored stuff.
I haven't gotten accustomed to bitter stuff yet. It's just not a taste that is appreciated here, so raw dandelion, radish greens, etc. aren't appealing.

Please no kale here. Yuck to my taste buds.

Here you on the kale! Veggies overall aren't as good raw as fruits as far as i am concerned. Carrots being my fave and all the rest tolerable with a good dressing or spice.

I used to hate broccoli but I just ate some fresh broccoli plain by itself today and I was really appreciating the flavor. It's so strange because I used to not like it at all! I have hated onions or anything onion flavored pretty much my entire life but since going raw I haven't tried them again yet to see if my taste has changed. It's so amazing to me how much tastebuds can change in such a short amount of time!

Without olive oil and/or sea salt. I hate all veggies....I always need something with them like tabouli, seeds, nuts in some type of combo or the above-mentioned seasonings. Tomatos I can eat whole, but they are fruit (LOL). I like carrots raw and cucumbers. THats about it.

So what do you eat if you dislike veggies?????
Me? My family makes fun of me because I hated all veggies!!!!! The big joke is when they made fun of my adversion to pea soup and they keep at me so I cracked and yelled f...bleep! the peas!!!! They even found a sign for my kitchen that says "Eat your Peas!" What I've found is I don't like COOKED veggies. The raw ones I dislike are broccoli, cauliflower, and radishes. Everything else is ok.

Hi Kristi,
Well, when I ate cooked I could eat steamed greens of any kind at any time. But now that I am raw I mostly eat fruit that we all use as veggies, tomatos and cucumbers. I use romaine lettuce with them. I usually eat my salads of these three (with the olive oil and sea salt). Sometimes I will shred carrots on it or zucchini. But mostly its just those three. Thats one of the reasons that when I was a vegan I was still overweight and clogged up. I didn't eat anywhere near enough fresh fruit and salad was maybe once per week. Then last year I started eating a salad before dinner every night and my health went to a new level. I slowly incorporated more and more raw food into my diet. At the time I went raw (or about 95% raw) I was probably around 50-60% raw. But if you see my before raw picture (taken last April) you can see I was very soft around the middle. Thats because I desperately needed a cleanse. Which the 30 day juice fast gave me. If you look at recent pics (such as the one posted here) I am 20lbs lighter, but more importantly, my insides are much cleaner. I still hate veggies, but the olive oil and sea salt make it easy for me to eat them daily. Thank God for FRUIT!!!
