Red face Any fruit you don't like?

Ok, I have a confession to make - I hate plums. I just don't like the texture, and even when they're sweet, I don't think they're that great. When I admitted that to some friends the other day, they said, "What kind of vegan doesn't eat plums?" LOL

So, fess up - is there any fruit you don't like?

No bananas?!?! I'd go crazy without bananas!

I got my first whiff of durian yesterday and I'm pretty sure it's not something I plan on trying! Personally, I'm not sure I'm meant to eat something that smells like that, lol!

I'm not too fond of apricots, though I love all other stone fruit. I seem to get too many mealy ones. Oh, and I don't like cantelope all that much, unless they are perfectly ripe.

Cantalopes, I have never liked them. I also don't like honeydew melon very much. It's too sweet.

I'm not fond of cantalope either unless like you said it's good and ripe. To me honeydew has no flavor at all but I love watermelon.

Lychee. I remember someone on rawfoodsupport saying they tasted like fish to her...then I had that same experience! A rose-grape flavored fish, but fish none the less.

Oh...fresh figs. I bought a pint in Phoenix hated them!! I love dried figs though.

I can't imagine not liking any fruit. My big issue is getting them ripe enough to enjoy eating them.
I laughed at the Durian remark - don't be discouraged by their initial awful smell!!. That's just the shell - the fruit has a creamy nutty, vanilla flavour (throw the stinky shell away as soon as possible).

I don't like canteloupe - or most melons either. I think they taste milky.

I don't care much for honeydew but I LOVE canteloupe! I don't care much for peaches but prefer nectarines instead. I also don't really like plums much anymore either because almost every one I had this summer was too tart. If they're sweet and not too mushy inside, then they're fine. Never tried durian and not sure if I ever want to from hearing about the smell. I have always been the type of person to smell everything before I eat it and if that thing stinks, it most likely won't enter my mouth! I tried lychee and while it was "okay", I don't see myself buying them and indulging in them. Oh... and papaya...don't care for those either.

I'm with you Curtis. I like them all. Some I LOVE. Like someone else said, I don't know what I would do without bananas. Plums, Peaches (especially ripe and juicy and in season- YUM), grapes, apples, pineapples, apricots...bring'em all on!! But I tried some figs, they are so-so, but not like I couldn't live on them if I had to. Guess I am just fruit-crazy...lol
