I see so much of what they do as publicity and product marketing of their personal lives. But I find this happening a lot in the raw world. I am tired of them and have recently deleted their blogs from my Google Reader.

Personally, I like the way Karen Knowler has handled her popularity. I find her more real.

I suppose that you have to seek publicity if you want to succeed. I get the impression from Matt's sales emails that he does sell some things at cost. It is hard to judge when you do not know the motives. I will give him the benefit of the doubt for now.
There are others that I rate as worse than him.

Despite how some of you feel and because of how others of you feel, I've booked Matt and Angela together for a special edition of Let's Talk Raw Sunday, May 3 at 9 a.m. Pacific time.

I wish we could all create our incomes sharing our lives and our loves. You've most likely heard the saying "Do what you love and the money will follow"? Well, it's not always true. Sometimes you have to do what you need to do and find what you love in that until you can do what you love.

Far as I know, both Matt and Angela are enjoying their lives. Why not support and celebrate their joy? We don't know their full stories; what they think, who they are, why they do what they do. We say we don't want to be judged yet, we're always ready to stand in judgment of others, aren't we?

Enjoy YOUR life and learn what you can from others. Do what makes your heart sing and if what you see others doing is not it, then don't do that but consider no condemning them for what they're doing. We're all here for our lessons and they're all different.

    Injoy,

    Revvell

I think it's really okay to have an opinion that is not judging. A question was posed and I answered it. I think I would deserve your response if I had just started a thread about them. I thought I was having a conversation. I know there are others who feel like me, but didn't post for precisely a response like this!

My opinion of their business practices has nothing to do with their commitment to each other as a couple and wishing them a wonderful life, which I totally do!

Was my response directed toward you? I was speaking in general; you took in personally. How interesting is that?

Missed you yesterday. Great class... lots of food ~ crackers, cookies, breads, burgers, cuke and tomato salad, cobbler....

As far as this response to me... we're always judging. It's a part of human nature. It's how we make decisions. That's it!

Oo, I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the class. That tax thing just took me by surprise. I did my taxes late, which I don't normally do. THAT won't happen again!

My response was in response to your response! Of course, it was directed to me if I am part of 'general.' Not interesting at all, just normal. lol I don't think we're always 'judging' per say. In this case, I was looking at the situation with a critical eye, based on my experience of something that had happened just that day. How's that for synchronicity? So I guess I was ripe for an opinion when asked. My heart was not in a judging mode, just in a personal experience mode.

I personally do not get on the raw guru bandwagon. I tire of it all too. Not for me and I too like real people that are of the earth and humble. Its ok to say so.We all get to choose our path. Not judging others yet judging for ourselves what we partake of or not.

I value these folks for the information they can share. If they choose to sell products as well- at least the things they sell are things I can use! What if no raw person sold anything? What if they wrote no books, did no speaking engagements, found fair trade foods and other neat raw foods/appliances? Raw would still raw, sure, but not nearly as fun, vibrant, and interesting.

I just bought Angelas book Raw Emotion- and honestly, there is not other book like this out there. She understand eating disorders and how raw can not only help but make them surface. As someone thats is struggling staying raw after having issues come to the surface after being raw almost a year, I am SO GRATEFUL to have this book basically fall into my lap.

I judge nor critisize no one in the raw world. We are all on our paths, and each person has some information they can share with you- and you with others.
