Hi everyone -
I just wanted to let you know about two upcoming events sponsored by the Raw Network of Washington.
Friday, April 10th from 6-10 p.m. is the third annual Raw Gala and Auction. Featuring a 4-course raw meal, live music, silent & live auction, raffle, and guest speakers Angela Stokes & Matt Monarch.
Saturday, April 11th: Matt Monarch will be giving a lecture at Bastyr from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.; and then Angela Stokes will be speaking from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

It's going to be a busy raw weekend with the Boutenko's at RawVegan Source on the 9th, the gala on the 10th, and Matt and Angela at Bastyr on the 11th.
I was planning on going to the Boutenka event for $25. Don't think I can justify spending $75 on the gala right now (even though it sounds spectacular) and another $35 for the Bastyr event.
Such a dilemma! If you had to chose one only, which one would it be?

I just heard about the Boutenkos coming to town. So great!
An update on the lecture - it's now $25 for both speakers.
Hmm...I don't know which I would choose. It depends on what your focus is. The gala is going to be a fun chance to socialize with other raw food people and to eat fantastic raw food (Mia from Dalene's is planning the menu). Matt & Angela will be talking, but it will be a shorter talk. If you're more interested in just hearing the speakers, then the Saturday lecture would be better.
