I can only imagine! I'll be picking up a coconut the next time I get groceries.

These little treats are VERY good, but oh so sweet. After one, I was good. :)

    Default Wow!!

Thanks, I just tried this and it's amazing!! I also made some little "peanut butter cups", by just using the filling in heart-shaped silicone forms, they're so good on their own... maybe a good treat for Valentine's Day!!

I made these last night, but I ended up just doing a few filled dates and then rolled the rest of the cocoa/nut mixture out to ropes, placed in freezer and today I cut them into bite sized pieces...RAW Tootsie rolls..delish..I highly recommend.
Thanks Op for the great tasting recipe.

    Default yum

These sound so good. However I have a question, a friend of a friend gave me some dates fresh off the tree and I don't know what to do with them. They are green and still have the pits so I don't know how to go about using them in this recipe.?

Green dates? I've never heard of that. Are you sure she didn't give you figs?
To remove the pit you just peel or cut it apart.
