Hey team!! Well i went all excited to get my new Jack Lalanne juicer because i bought all these veggies--but the ferry didn't make the delivery!! Thats Ok, i will go get my box of organic oranges i thought--well those didn't come either--well, unless i start stomping my greens, i have NO JUICE! So i decided that i will be happy with what i have done. See you on the boards and great work! We do our bodies good!!

Hi guys, great for you! Whenever you feel is the best time to break it is, i would say definitely listen to that. Its better to go off slow then to "fall off" and go wild!
Curtis, just go slow, the best thing to do is eat a mono diet, just fruit or veggies, one thing at a time, not combined for a day or two...
Eat a banana, eat some grapes, eat a pear... the next day same mono meals maybe a light salad... the idea is to give your digestive system a chance to start working again without being bombarded!
I may just do 7 days also, it s k now but i have a bunch of events and things and work is intense right now, so we'll see.
You are all doing (and did) great though/ it really is nice to do it with people for the support....

Okay thanks Alissa I will do that. After a day or 2 I will add salads and soups to. lol I just bought new pants 2 weeks ago, now these are getting loose :)
Been using your recipes and now I think it is time to follow your 4 week plan closely for a month to continue learning. I have a few things still in my diet I want to go ahead and let go of and doing the 4 week plan will help me do that.
    Night all see ya tomm

Day four yesterday and did fine. Actually woke up not feeling too hungry, but I thought I should have something, so I made some OJ. Then I didn't feel like having anything again until 2:30 - very strange for me!! Sadly, I made some pineapple-tangerine juice, usually one of my favorites, and I accidentally threw one of the tangerine pieces in there with the skin still on. Ruined the whole thing. I tried to sweeten it with more fruit, but it was so bitter I couldn't drink it. Good thing I wasn't hungry or I'd have been a bear about that! LOL

Day five now and a little hungrier but still not as much as the first three days. I guess it's true what they say about your hunger going away.

    Hi Guys! (thanks Magnolia!)

So, it's Saturday morning, I'm planning on joining you...is anyone staying in the game?

Breaking the fast...what worked GREAT for me, and I didn't gain ANY weight back: day one, eat 1 kind of fruit for breakfast, have more juice during the day, and a small salad with just a little olive oil for dinner

day two: follow day one...keep juices in your diet but slowly replace juice with solid food. Nothing dehydrated yet, and NO nuts.

Keep going this way for 4-5 days before you add anything really dense in like nuts or dehydrated stuff.

That's how I broke my 21 day fast, since yours was shorter you might be able to transition a little quicker.

    Y'all have done GREAT!!!

    Hi Guys,

Its sunday. Day one for me. I just had a delicious mix of one whole juiced pineapple and 4 pears. It was about 40 oz. DELICIOUS!. I bought 3 cases of organic valencias on Friday. I will probably have some sort of veggie(yuck)/fruit (tomato, cukes) mix this afternoon, then finish the day with OJ. This is great! You are are doing soooo Wonderfly! I am so proud of all of you. See vegbaby, I told you day four would be easy. Its like you almost feel guilty for NOT being real hungry. I like smashy's description of breaking the fast. That has been a problem for me. But I have prayed, planned and will fight to make sure that my finish goes smoothly next week, by God's grace.

    Good morning everyone!
I had apple, pear,oj juice for breakfast. I think with this evenings meal will break my fast. Thanks for all advice in breaking it.
lol I love me parents but my mom being a nurse looks at me from that view. Over the last few months I have been slowly losing weight with diet changes and eating more natural food. I went to see my folks last week and haven't been there for a month. Well of course as you lose weight it comes off your face and neck first. Well the first thing my mom said is your losing weight to fast. :) I reminded her I haven't seen them for over a month and I am doing fine.
I really have no concerns about this because what I have learned so far is the body will get rid of excess weight then zero in on it's perfect weight after that. Still amazes me if we eat what God intended everything else will fall into place. :)
Anyway everyone have a great day!

    Hiya Curtis,

You are doing great! How much weight have you lost? I have noticed the same thing, it seems to show on the face and neck first. Is today the 7th day of the fast? Be careful in breaking it, I would advise fresh fruit (have several pieces) but no nuts, seeds or (God forbid ) nothing cooked.

    Peace.

Hey everyone, been offline for a couple days, but I wanted to drop in and let you know that I did five days. On the evening of the 5th day I was battling huge cravings, but I went to bed and hoped it would subside by the morning. It was Sunday and traditionally the hardest day for me to be raw because my husband often cooks family favorites, plus we were having company for dinner, so...I decided to stop my fast. Ate fruit the whole day, then salad for dinner. The great thing is that I'm now back on the 100% raw wagon and feeling great!! Lost 7 1/2 lbs. total, and I can't believe my skin. yay!

    Morning all,
Yes I did 7 days and decided to break my juice fast Sunday night. Agree Todd taking it easy for a day with mostly fruit.
I am not sure how much weight I lost, don't ever weight myself. :)
I just know going to have to buy new pants again soon. Everyone have a nice day! Later
    Curtis
