Smile Green Star, Angel or other?

Hi all, I hope you can help me! I want to buy a juicer for wheatgrass and greens (I have a Vitamix for blending) and had pretty much decided on a Greenstar Gold (I live in the UK) but am now hearing a lot of positive reviews about the Angel. It looks great, all stainless t
steel, but is also twice as expensive as the Greenstar and I don't know if there is much difference re quality of juice, ease of cleaning, etc. Then I also ask myself whether or not I can just pulverize everything in the Vitamix instead and save my money?! I'd be grateful for any opinions/suggestions!

i grow wheat grass then cut into one inch bits into a blender half full of water then blend and strain for my wheat juice water . do the same with other fruits and vegis . i just have a cheap blender and a fine mesh metal kitchen strainer .

and at www.juicefeasting.com if i remember right they juice with a blender method also .

and ive read many do the same , ecspecially with a powerful vitamix .

thusly i vote save the money

Thank you! I'll check out the site as well. I keep dithering between getting a twin-gear juicer, small/basic wheatgrass juicer or just using the Vitamix!

Thank you so much for this thread and for all the hard work Eternityrider went to in compiling it! After reading through everything, I've completely re-thought what will best serve my juicing needs and am not going to shell out £400 for a Green Star basically just for wheatgrass and greens. I'm going to get a Breville Elite or its equivalent for my basic juicing needs, centrifugal or not - I'll drink the juice right away and the easy cleanup is also a biiiiiig bonus by the sound of it (thank you, Rose Petals, for such a detailed and informative post) and use my Vitamix/straining bag for greens and wheatgrass. I have a Jack Lalanne juicer at the moment but rarely use it because there are so many parts to dissemble/clean and that special tool is needed to loosen/tighten the basket, and aesthetically-speaking, the white plastic body stain from juice. I can't imagine having been able to gather so much information anywhere else -- thank you everyone!
