    Default Don't have a juicer...

I just have a regular blender (though it's pretty good as far as those go) and have been wondering about tossing in some little petite carrots and just blending them up for part of my morning smoothie. Has anyone tried this? Were the results drinkable? Better yet, did you kill your blender?! LOL!

i often tossed a carrot in a green smoothie. but... i have a vita-mix so i have no idea how your blender would do with carrots.

i couldn't even taste the carrot.

Yeah, I'm worried not having a Vitamix may end up being an issue...that's why I was wondering if those who did try it destroyed their (regular) blenders in the process! That would suck...I got it for Christmas this year

They would not destroy your blender. I would cut them up in small pieces and of course you would have to add juice or water. If you are still unsure, just do 1 piece at a time to test it then add more.

Do you have a food processor? That may be better and then add to the blended mix. :)
