I Dare You ....................
OKAY,
THIS IS A THREAD, that I am daring you to post in.
1. you must type out something you hate, or used to hate about your body
2. you must now say you love it
3. you must actually try to love it
4. you must be honest
5. try it, it is hard to do, but, it will help you, trust me on this.
so.
1. I love my Goddess Ass
2. I love my thunder thighs
3. I love my Buddha belly
4. I love my gray hair
There, sooo easy to type, now let's actually try to love these parts of ourselves.
Also, I am going right now to stand in front of the mirror and admire my parts that I used to NEVER look at, and enjoy the fact that I have these parts, as they are useful to my human form.
Any takers?
Any BRAVE SOULS OUT THERE?
Come on, you can do it.
Every one of us has something that we don't (or didn't) like about ourselves at least once in our lives.

This is most difficult. The first thing that popped into my head, there is no way I can love. So, onto my second hate.
I have never liked my hair. It has always been super straight, oily and fine.
So, I can learn to love and appreciate my hair. I love my hair! I love my hair, I love my hair! I am trying. I love my hair, and tomorrow I will buy some honey and wash my hair luxuriantly.
Blessings.

CONGRATULATIONS, I know how difficult this is, it is NOT for the faint of heart.
YOU did great. Now, let's see who else can be honest with themselves.
Often, you will find that the one thing you (used) to hate, is what others love about you.
I also have fine straight hair, and I was complaining to someone once, when a person walked by over heard me, and said, "Oh, I think your hair is beautiful, it is so sleek and shiny, mine always looks like straw, it's so dry and wirey", and from that moment on, I loved my long straight, oily, shiny sleek hair.

This one is easy for me LOL I had been HATING my bloated, edema legs and ankles since I have been 16 weeks pregnant. (we are 30 weeks now) I would notice everyones ankles every where we went. Everyone had ankles but me I have now come to terms with them and love them and even have been wearing ankle bearing dresses.
-
YEAH !!! RANDOLYN,
Good for you, I bet your ankels are gorgeous.

Okay, here it goes
1. I love my pouchy belly that has carried 4 kids.
2. I love my huge hips, hmmmm also related to those same 4 kids
3. I love my huge breasts, oh dare I say it again?
4. I love my small waist that jeans never ever fit.
These are things that always stick out to me when looking in the mirror.
Another thing, is my vagina..there I said it. For a long time I thought it was dirty because older men took advantage of it, the babysitter touched it in ways it shouldn't have been. I know this is getting deep, but if not here where? So I am setting that hurt go, I deserve to love my vagina!! IT allowed my children to enter into this world for all those other things I have to start loving too!! Sorry if this offends anyone, that is not my intention.

RP is right. This is not for the faint of heart. I am glad we can get rid of some things, by the power of stating that we are getting rid of them.

CONGRATULATIONS ON BEING SO BRAVE.
YOUR breasts are beautiful, your tummy is beautiful. All of your scars are beautiful, they tell you where you have been and how difficult it may have been to get there.
It may not "feel" like it right now, but eventually, you will "Feel" these things about your gorgeous goddess body.
