Ok, so I can't actually believe I'm posting these but..courage is everything! :P I would like to show what a great difference raw makes in a short amount of time. The first picture is me on very "healthy" SAD food (lean meats, granola bars, skim milk, whole grain bread..haha) weight about 135-140, acne, puffy face all the good stuff :P, the second one is me after being raw for approx. 2 months and after doing a couple of short (3 day) fasts, weight 115-120, detoxing with some acne. The third one was taken about half a year ago on 97.5555% raw, weight 117, beautiful, clear skin. Sadly, I've fallen off raw many many times and am trying to be good again. :P I posted these picture not only to enourage others, but to motivate me as well. I know I can achieve the same, if not better, results!
You're lovely; you look utterly serene in that third photo. You're gorgeous in all of them but the third really shows you looking peaceful.
Also, I love your sunny, cheerful, lighthearted blog!
I just spent a while reading it.
Thank you for posting and best to you on your journey. :)

Released 145 lbs in the first year (2007) eating RAW Live Food and Fasting ~ Fasted 262 days during the next year and now I coach others! ~ Longest juice fast to date: 209 days ~ The Lady Awen (Elf sister to Aredhel) is usually fasting with the Fellowship of the Fasters!
You look great! And this is really motivating for me too. Why? I'm 135-140 now and am puffy and have acne and am feeling not so great. I'm eating a "healthy" vegan diet which emphasizes grains and beans. I suppose its better than fast food by far but I still don't feel great. 115-120 is also my ideal weight and the weight I got to when I last stayed raw for a few months. You can do this! We can do this!
omgish! we're like .. twins! haha :PP definitely keep me updated!! I have a blog so I'll be updating constantly (only on those good days ;) ) and thanks for the compliment! it really means a lot.
Hi Sandy...Kongrats on not giving up on RAW. I myself have attempted and "fallen off" many times, when you think about it we have been eating cooked food for a long time so it takes more time to adjust for some people than others. But, as long as you keep in your mind the REASONS why you are choosing to have a RASTYLE you will be more centered on your intentions when "temptation" arises. It has really helped me to clean our home of cooked food, this way you can only eat the raw food you have around;0
