    Default Raw yoga in Seattle!!!

There is a yoga studio opening on Feb 5th in downtown Seattle (4th & Stewart) that is going to also have raw food. How cool is that!!!

Chef Adam from House of the Sun (the same guy who is at Nature's Pantry in Bellevue) is preparing the food each day.

There is also going to be a spa.

    Check it out!

    That is very cool.

You know I walked into a new studio the other day to sign up for classes. It's a bikram yoga studio, so everyone was sweatin'. The smell emanating from this place was pretty heavy and pungent. I'm not sure if someone who hadn't healed their sense of smell would notice it. Think this happens with alot of raw foodists. Anyway, I remember thinking it would be great if they ate raw foods. It was the toxins being released that I smelled. I hope that doesn't sound awful and crass, it's just what crossed my mind in the moment. I'm sure they are wonderful people, it's just I wish they were consuming cleaner fuel.

You are indeed very, very lucky!

I hope a raw yoga studio opens up near me.

Is that close enough to where you work to pop over for lunch, or pick it up on the way home for dinner? Would they allow that even if you aren't taking a class?!

ha ha, that's funny about the smells! It's so true - I notice it on myself. The last couple weeks I was trying out being high raw instead of 100% raw, and I literally noticed that my sweat smelled worse. Yucky!

This studio is really cool - they have both hot yoga and vinyasa yoga (in different rooms). Most studios only have one or the other. Plus, they have both 60 minute classes and 90 minute classes.

Yes - it's close enough to where I work so I could go during lunch - they have classes at 12 and 12:30.

I don't see why I couldn't pick food up even if I wasn't taking a class that day. I didn't see anywhere where it said you had to do both. The only thing it said about the food was to pre-order by 2 p.m. the day before. So I'm sure I could pick it up on my way home for dinner or whatever.

The other really cool thing they do is on Saturday and Sunday, they have a "donation" class. From their site: "It is important that Yoga is accessible to all. This class is the same as our other classes, but it is donation based...pay what you can, if you can! (recommendation is $10)"
I love the spirit of that!

Seriously, this place sounds great. I've never found a Bikram studio that does anything but that. I might just move to Seattle. Not really. Ha! I did work for Starbucks for forever. I'm sure I could just go back to them. I don't care if they sell toxins, it was a fun job. Hmmm... Seattle's sounding nice. Does WA have state taxes? LOL.

Haha -- If they went raw -- there would be the initial REALLY bad detox where they'd smell way worse than they do now. Ya know -- the bad breath stage. Ick. Just be careful what you ask for! ;)

Ha! LOL -- that's great. All I buy is food. I'm serious, it's ridiculous. I get more excited about a ripe, organic pineapple than I ever could about clothing or anything else. I love raw food. And I try to bike and walk so don't use much gas.

Yup, forget Hungary, FL and Brazil. I'm moving to Seattle. ;)
