    Default Nauseaous from green juice?

    Why is this happening?
None of my greens were spoiled, I had a large variety, but 30 min to an hour after I drink it I get nauseous, and usually stay that way?
    What is the deal!?
Should I be easing my way into juicing by using other vegetables first, then slowly adding in greens?

Could possibly be too cleansing on your system for some reason. You drank it on it's own? No other ingredients with the greens?

All greens? That's too strong. The juiceman recommends green juice be diluted with apple, celery, carrot, or cucumber. I usually do about 1/4 green.

green juice is strong and very cleansing... that happens to me when i overdo beet juice or wheatgrass juice.

i'd say stick with one type of green at a time and juice a bunch (or less) with other fruits and veggies. if you're getting sick doing a whole bunch, go down to half a bunch and see if that helps. if it is still too much, try just a few leaves at first and then work up to more.

    good luck, feel better!

i agree with beckx... same thing happens here. in my case... i usually just switch up what i'm juicing (when i'm fasting) and move over to fruit juices till my body wants greens again. but i never do a large qty of greens at one time straight up.

I've been sick from too much green juice or too much wheatgrass juice. If you are not fasting, then eating solid food along with your green juice will help prevent that nauseous feeling. Ginger in your green juice will also help. Take care not to overdo it with the green juice, it is powerful stuff. Yes, in time you will become more tolerant of it, but it is a gradual process.

thanks guys, I knew greens were good for you, and I never had a problem with them in my green smoothies, but I had no idea they could have such a strong affect on the body when juiced.
I've scaled back, and am doing lighter things, like celery, cucumber, carrot, apple, watermelon (my fav)... wish me luck!

Yeah you can get pretty nauseated if you haven't worked yourself up to alot of green. I forgot about that and gave my mum a super green juice.
