Default Help, need to wean my son of breastmilk quickly

Hi, I want to wean my son of breast milk because I am pregnant and due in March. It is getting very hard for me to breast feed him and I just want a little break from nursing.
What's the quickest way to wean him off the breast?
    Any advice would be appreciated
    thank you very much
And I should mention that he is almost 3 yrs old and eats other foods, too.

    I understand=)

Try buying him a new cool cup that's only for nighttime. With my last child, I just told her my boobies hurt and that I would hold her and rub her back instead.

LLL might tell you, "don't offer and don't refuse" meaning to avoid any teary conflict about it--and also to not offer it to make him quiet or for any other reason.

Find a book that shows newborns and mommies nursing and explain how he has been nursing since he was born but now that he is big there are other things he can do that tiny babies can't do.

Start a new ritual during your nursing time.

Do you know a slightly older kid that doesn't nurse that you could use as an example? "_____ doesn't nurse anymore, his mommy feeds him by making him his favorite foods. What are your favorite foods that Mommy feeds you?" "Daddy used to be a baby who nursed, but when he became a big boy like you he started eating food and drinking ______"

If you really want to stop, plan your statements and don't waver=)
