    Hope you feel better soon!

I never had morning sickness. I ate only organic food and ate what i wanted. I ate my fruits in the morning and would have microbitic style of food as cook food.

Don't eat the food that isn't appealing to you even thought this is raw. Be careful with sprout, i heard that they could have armful bacteria for the child, so i stayed away from that during my pregnancy.

Have you tried the green smoothies, how do you react with that. Maybe you want to get some coaching with Jinjee (not sure if she does that).

    Check your water

If your diet is pure organic, then i have no clue why you aren't feeling good but i pray that you find your answers!

For my first trimester I could hardly handle any raw foods (although 100% raw before becoming pregnant). Things that helped with my all day nausea were bland cooked vegan foods. Rice, potatoes, bread. Also eating frequent small meals. Every time I felt hungry my nausea would come back, eating something small would help subdue the nausea.

I am at the end of my first trimester and have slowly been wanting and successfully adding raw foods back into my diet.

Ugh, hang in there. I felt worse during my second pregnancy compared to my first, weird!! Thank goodness it only lasts for a matter of weeks, then it disappears.

Congratulations Raene! It has been many months since I have been on here. I had a girl on November 8th ~ that is for another post.

I just wanted to share what helped me as I had problems with nausea all through my pregnancy and even after I gave birth!
Drinking lots of HOT water was the only thing that helped. I carried around a thermos of hot water with me where ever I went - even to Church! Cold or cool water would increase the nausea - it had to be hot.

All the best to you Raene.

Thanks for the hot water tip! I'll try that. I do drink lots of regular (lukewarm water) but I'll try warmer.

Yesterday I ate MUCH less than usual and I felt SOOOO much better. Since I can't and don't want to fast, maybe just eating less is the solution for me. I ate only 1/2 a fruit, 12 oz juice, half cup hazelnuts, and a large salad all day and felt GREAT! My husband worries though b/c I'm thin, but hey, whatever helps.

Figure out the food that sit well with you and go for it. If you do well with fruits, eat tone of them. They digest very fast in your system and the nutriment go directly in your blood to feed your baby. Do fresh juice too, for it does get digest fast. Don't eat past 7pm even past 6:30 pm, it will give you extra nausa in the morning if you eat before bed.

I pray for you to feel better soon!

Oh guys, I'm at a loss here. I've lost 3 lbs and I just don't know what to do. Nothing sounds edible and I've hardly eaten in 2 days. I wrote more on my blog. I never dreamed it would be this way eating raw, but my body is so sensitive that I can't go back to eating anything cooked. I'm so worried, both for my own health and my baby's.

I usually loose weight at the beginning of my pregnancies. I think the most I lost was about 10# with Katrina. Although with Oksana-Maria I did not loose any but gained about 10 lbs at the beginning. I am not saying that it is a good thing - just that it can happen and still have healthy babies.
I remember my doc telling me with one of my pregnancies that not eating because of m/s will make it worse. Easier said than done I say... keeping trying different foods until you find one that will sit better with you.
All the best to you and your wee one.

I wasn't raw during my first trimester. I had morning sickness and just ate what would sit ok in me. It was survival at that moment. Anyway, I loved sour. So maybe some lemon water or a raw lemonade? Salt and sour got me through it. Like others, it was almost a macrobiotic type diet with some fish. Lots of whole grains. And it's ok to lose some weight. Ask yourself what sounds ok and listen to your body!

Now I am fine and crave nuts, fruits, veggies and dark chocolate. You gotta ride this out.

    Congrats.
