I do nnot see that your little one eats any Green Smoothies. Sounds like he may not like the greens. Try taking him to the market with you and have him choose the greens that he may want in his smoothies. There a lot of them available in a variety of textures and colors. Like Dino Kale, you could start up a conversation about Dinosaurs and how they ate them etc.. Just make stuff up as you go, it is fun and it may just want to eat them when you make it fun.

Then when you get home, hold a "science experiment" in your kitchen. This is how I got my grandkiddo's to eat the GS's. It was perfect and fun!

    Do you add things like:
    Hemp seeds
Chia seeds - great because they digest perfectly and include the necessary nutrients that we all need. They take on the taste of anything you mix them with. There are lots of chia recipes on my Raising Alex blog.
Flax seeds (need to be ground for proper digestion)
    Hemp oil
    Flax oil
    Dulse flakes
    Wheatgrass
Spirulina or Chlorella to any of the smoothies he consumes?

My personal belief is that the multi vitamins that you are possibly relying on for the "B" complex are not being asorbed by his body and he is just urinating them out. This hapens with processed vitamins, they are not as reliable as you may think.

Also you can email my friend Dr. T here http://ecopolitan.com/organic-health/ask-doctor-t He will help and answer all of your questions in a timely manner.

    Good Luck

I don't think anyone mentioned nutritional yeast, for the B vits. (not raw, i know) you could put it in the smoothies, its tasty on a salad, and can be added to crackers, cookies, etc. blended soups are easier to digest, also.

Sounds like a bunch of hooey. I ate a lot of raw food as a child and my daughter eats raw food too. She's not 100% raw by any means. I used to have a vitamin B deficiency but don't seem to now. I don't know why.
