That is entirely the point of a weighted vest. The weight is distributed evenly across your entire torso and thus doesn't put any additional pressure on any particular joint.

Sport, have you tried acupuncture? I broke several bones and now my bones are stronger than ever. I was told I had low bone denisity after numerous tests during my recovery, but that's because I had several operations and my bones were being depleted! Ironic. And I figured it out fortunately. I no longer see the acupuncturist but I have no doubt the treatments helped my body find balance, cleared my mind etc. Eating raw foods has enhanced my bone density naturally. Drink wheatgrass shots. Wheatgrass will help you immensely - will go straight to your bones. I also did a lot of research to find out what could be leaching nutrients from my bones and the list was long. Is there really such a thing as a genetic defect? I'm starting to believe there is no such thing. Whatever you decide to do - vest, raw foods or other healing methods I wish you the very best.

Visualize strong bones and you will have them.

Thank you for your good wishes.
Yes there is a genetic thing going on here as 2 younger sisters are also in trouble.
I am doing wheatgrass and they have helped my osteoarthritis so maybe will help with density as well.
I have just been listening to David Rainoshek on the rawkathon and have decided to do the 92 day juice feast but I am waiting to begin in Feburary.
I am ready for this now as it is obviously the next obvious step for me but I want to do it heading in to better weather and I usually go to Florida for a couple of weeks in January. I will plan it correctly and do it sucessfully and come out the other end a better and healthier person.
I feel as if my life has taken another turn today and moved to another level. I am reducing my fat and increasing my greens and prepping for my feast in Feb.
