Raw and connection with all there is.
Being RAW, I feel connected to all there is.
Not just the food I eat, which seems to be more alive to me, the more I go raw, but also the sun the lake the grass the trees.
It's like in the movie "Phenomenon" where John Travolta is "feeling" the trees move.
It's like I am one with all life force energy.
Now my question is this:
Do people start eating RAW, and because of that they are able to start "feeling" the life force energy in all things.
Or: Were they able to start "feeling" the life force energy in all things, and that brought them to eating RAW, because they could tell the difference?
What is YOUR story?
Were you into natural food and clothes and lifestyle before you went raw, or was eating raw the first step, or was it all mushed up together so it's hard to tell which is first?
I'm just curious, no term paper to write, nothing special, I'm just sitting here at 4:00 am listening to the Bull Frogs, feeling the cool morning breeze coming off the lake, and wondering about life and everyone's place in the world.
Ah, life is a grand and glorious adventure, not to be missed.

I found the Raw lifestyle after finding my spirital path but I tell you now that I'm raw it has deepened my spiritual path to the point that I don't think I could ever hunt again. (For those that don't know my story I was a big time huntress) I've been on a spirital awakening for about 5 years now and it has slowly unfolded for me and now I am HERE!
So Spirital path came first, Raw came Second BUT the path has expanded by leaps and bounds since becoming raw. It has helped me release some baggage that was weighing me down.
Love,
Angie

Now that is fascinating and sure got me thinking.
My grandfather is a vegetable farmer, so I have always gardened and always felt attuned to the energy of all things growing and all things living. This awareness though did fade in my 20's.
Then I became very aware of myself as Soul and more attuned to Spirit. I began studying a spiritual path, reading a lot of books, meditating/contemplating, doing Spiritual exercises etc...this led me to the concept of being attuned with or a part of all life, all energy. Once in awhile, in my greatest human moments of being Soul and fully knowing it, I could truly feel this, fleeting though it seemed.
This then led me to start having these dreams, where I was told to throw my coffeemaker in the ocean, and another where every cupboard in the house was overflowing with moldy bread, to another where i was eating raw meat on a city bus and threw up blood everywhere, and on and on these dreams came.
I listened to them as they were so clear and I was having health issues, and that led me to start researching nutrition. I began reading everything, from vegetarian to ayurveda, to chinese medicine and none of it sat right with me.
Somehow I wound up on Shazzies site and that was it--it rang true to me 100 percent.
I find that on raw, this fleeting awareness is not so fleeting and it is so amplified. It is easier to have an open heart and to stay in SPirit, connected to all energy. And that naturally leads me to cherish all energy.
Its rather like spirituality expanded my awareness and gave me the mental concepts and possibilities and raw is helping me put those into practice.

I have been on the spiritual path for many years, but I have never felt so connected to the earth as when I was eating a lot of raw foods. I think it has something to do with the level at which we are vibrating. It is more in tune with the earths' vibration. Ever since I have quit smoking I have slowly been progressing towards a more natural lifestyle. I even buy organic now. It is as if now that I have eliminated a major source of toxin in my life I want the rest of the stuff I put in my body to be good for me. I am so glad I found this site, because it has changed my life.
