Default Borrowed Earth - Downers Grove, IL

    Hello all !!

I am not sure if anyone has posted a thread on Borrowed Earth, but I thought I would share that their food is amazing, so so very good.

I have had the Planet Earth Pizza, Burrito Locco(Sampled a friends) and Corn Mole both dishes come with 3 tasty salads.

Oh and I cannot forget to mention there yummmy yummy dessert

Out of this World Cheese Cake
Out of this world taste. Chocolate and vanilla “cheese cake” on a nut terra firma crust.

I have been to this restaurant twice now and whenever I am in the Chicago area I will definitley stop at this restaurant again.

Ooooh, thanks for posting this! I thought Karen's Raw was the only raw restaurant in the Chicagoland area!

Any organic and raw places in the Chicago-land area that anyone has tried and enjoyed?

I just heard about Cousin's IV too. I always thought Cousin's was a turkish place (the others are, I guess).

    There's Karyn's Raw
    Borrowed Earth
    Cousin's IV
and then there's the Raw Potluck in Wheaton

Don't know of any others but would love it if someone else knew of more!

I think Cousin's IV is mostly organic.

Anyone have experience with any of the others besides Borrower's?

I think each of the raw restaurants in Chicago are good in there own way. Cousins has more of a lighter fair and Kayrn's is a bit heavier. It really depends on what you like. Cousins is more Turkish to me.

I love Kayrn's, Dim sum and I love Cousins raw pizza and eggplant bacon.
